Beast's "arms behind the head" pose is a bit odd.

And seductive.

Rowr! :p He is yummy and all that, I just dislike Bianchi's cat Beast face more than the other guys who draw him. It looks smooshed. :(

it did look as if he were uh...reminiscing(re-enacting?) a past experience in that panel....

When exactly has Forge 'lost it'? They seem to be crapping on the guy for no reason throughout this arc. I mean, why would Forge not contact another X-Man the moment he became aware of an invasion of mutants from an alternate Earth?

Chris, you serious? they have been mis-writing Forge for over 20 years. He had a nice run in X-Factor...but then it was all about him and Mystique trying to jump each other's bones.

Forge is absolutely one of my favorite fringe characters(and i have many)..he could really shine and solve most of the X-men's problems if given a chance

Exactly! I always thought Forge was a great character who's been royally screwed for years. But then the same seems to be true of all my favourites. Beast does like, no physical stuff nowadays. Bobby is always cast to one side the very issue after something productive has been done with him....

Always the way

Specifically, Forge "lost it" after Messiah CompleX. He's cut himself off from the rest of the X-teams, and shoots at everyone who approaches his front door, no matter who they are.

I think it has something to do with the trust issues he developed when a trusted member of the X-Men broke into his home and bopped him one.

looking at those scans have me a lil lost. didn't they already know about the time lines of mutant. didn't scott send Maddox and Layla to find out information.

That was just exposition. They already know it. They're just recapping for our sake.

and he did it twice. lol.

is it me or are they all standing kind of effeminite

It's not just you. I think Bianchi uses fashion models for photo references.

Man, I gotta get back into this series. I only have like 2 or 3 issues from Whedon's run. What issue are they on now?

Cover art for #30 is on the last page so we're at 28, 29 or so. :)

Yes, Joss' run stopped at 25 I believe. :)

If Bianchi put that little bit of extra effort into his art it would be perfect. as it stands now though....its a bit meh somtimes.

I'd need to read through this again. It's been so long I don't even remember what's going on. :p

doesn't it seem like armor is more cykes little buddy then wolverines
Do you mean Beast? Because Ellis is writing a better mentor/student relationship with Beast/Armor than he is with Wolverine/Armor.

What do you have against Armor? It's not like she's some Mary-Sue Superteen who sasses and complains about how she's just as good as the rest of the X-Men while trying way too damn hard to be cute.

im just hating on the girl. and how she keeps getting panel time. C. Reyes had a similar power and has been sidelined for years...and i much prefer her.
