im just hating on the girl. and how she keeps getting panel time. C. Reyes had a similar power and has been sidelined for years...and i much prefer her.
I really wish they would bring back Cecilia into the X-line. I think she would work well in X-factor. Uncanny would be good but she'd be thrown in the background there. Only other option could be as a supporting member in X-men Legacy once its done dealing with Xavier's issues

that would be awesome. but i dunno if its the writers or the editors or both...but they bench interesting characters in favor of, well, Pixie(whom i like..well did..before they tried to turn her into Magik 3.0)

And then they brought Magik back, making Pixie incredibly redundant.

maybe they will send her to the Exiles..where she will be with Blink(who is obviously the other inspiration for her creation)....and then she will start feeling how Nightcrawler feels

which thank god effectively removed her from the books in the last issue of X-Infernus. While Im sure its not the last we'll see of her, I hope it wont be for a long time

I dont think her creation was inspired by Blink. I never got that impression

Aside from the color pink, there's really no relation between Pixie and Blink. Weir and DeFilippis originally created Pixie as a pink-haired girl with butterfly wings. It was certain other writers who gave her the teleportation powers and the dagger.

ahh. then maybe it was the other writers that tried to turn pixie into Blink....cuz dammit...thats what i thought everytime i looked at her. Pink hair, pink-ish skin...teleportation powers...she just reeked of Blink

Wait a minute... just read the latest issue. Did Cyclops really just order Wolverine to execute that guy? or was that Emmas mind game? *confused*

I would say he did intent to have Logan off the guy at the first (If that guy's bones were really all broken, I would say that killing him is putting him out of misery), but the conversation later between him and Emma lost me.

This is the most difficult part about reading a foreign comic for me, sometimes there are parts I won't understand.

Don't worry about it, there are some parts that I really don't understand and I'm from England... we invented this language.

I really do like the story in Astonishing at the moment... its original at least (which written well or not, Astonishing has been severely lacking since its very first issue) and interesting, but I'm really not feeling the dialogue. It all seems a bit forced.

I like the concept of the story. But the execution? God its awful. Its almost impossible to follow, Bianchi's art is all over the place in terms of what the panel is supposed to convey, and there are way to many up the nose angles. Scott's instruction to execute the bad guy? What? And as mightiest mortal pointed out - incredibly confusing back and forth between Emma and Scott. Plus, I'm still not clear on the whole "Forge has had a couple of mental problems in the past and even when he's right in the head he balls's up".

Scott!

Beware of Forge's saliva spray!

Use Logan as a shield!

I love Logan's big grin on the last panel. :D

Did Forge raid Bishops end of time closet the last time Bishop smacked him in the back of the head and stole his tech or something? Whats with the raggedy look?

You really do need the text to follow whats happening with Bianchi's work dontcha. And on the subject of the art - what lighting would cause Scott to be oddly silhouetted like that but have Emma and Ororo in sharp full lit focus directly behind him?

Dang! In the panel (?) with the close-up of Forge that shows Emma and Ororo behind him, Emma's face looks like it belongs on a Barbie doll. And in the picture with the group confronting a bunch of monsters, what happened to Logan's hair? He looks like he's got wings growing out of his head.

His biggest problem is that sometimes he got the object of his drawing too complicated, plus too much shading so it takes a lot of efforts to tell what's what apart.

I fail to see what is hard and/or confusing about any of those pages.

I fail to see why this book should now be bi-monthly. :( I hate waiting so long in between issues. I keep forgetting what's going on.
