Remember, for Whedon, prophecies usually mean jack squat, at least in the Buffyverse. Either they're meaningless (Master kills the slayer) misinterpreted (No weapon forged can kill me) or downright false (Father kills the son).

Cat fight wise, Kitty would beat the living hell out of Emma and if Emma goes diamond, Kitty phases her into the ground. Emma goes splat. Emma's only shot would be her telepathy and i think Kitty's had enough training to not let some "bush league" hack like Emma take over her mind.

when kitty is phased, telepaths cant get to her

Some telepaths have been able to effect her while phased, so she's not completely immune to it.

- In regards to Astonishing X-Men, Quesada said that the Whedon/John Cassaday series will continue to "walk between the raindrops" of what's going on the larger Marvel Universe. The series is in continuity, Quesada reiterated, but, as he sees it, it stands on its own, virtually its own little X-Men movie.

It'll be a while before that comes out. The third volume will likely collect issues 13-18, and we're only on issue 14. 15 comes out this month. This is a bi-monthly book, so...

Expect to see volume 3 released next January. At earliest.

No. But if former dictactor, Saturnyne, tried to control her then she must have some deadly potential.

Yeah, Saturnyne killed Courtney many issues earlier. She took her place and had some unexplained scheme of world domination.
