Yeah, he couldn't have made him look any worse sans-visor than he did there.
I like the art, but i dont think is the best work of Cassaday, this issue stars so cool with great panels of Emma and it ends with a bad picture o Kitty (my opinion of course), even so, this is my favorite comic at the time, Emma looks troubled, and the return of Danger to the arc opens more cuestions of what will happen next, Hisako it seems is going to play a major role, maybe becoming an x man at the end. Very cool, can't wait 2 more monthsCOMICBOY said:i LOVE the art. some of the best art in comics today. it looks real, not at all cartoony. just LOVE it.

I don't think so, but Astonishing is the only X book im reading, i know that there are specific caracters for each book, so i guess Hisako only appears in this oneaddismad said:hmm Hisako, that's an interesting guess? possibly, does she appear in any other books like New X-Men or something or just thing one?
They mention that an "X-MAN" its going to destroy the Breakworld, i think that only applies to the teachers, no students.MutantMetalhead said:I wouldn't be surprised if Hisako is the one who destroys Breakworld. Unless something that I forgot says that it's definately not one of the students. After her power "spurt" in this issue, I have to wonder.

My guess is that she is not going to fight the entire Hellfire Club, only Emma, and in some point between Kitty kicking Emma's butt and the entire Hellfire ready to fight, some X men are going to recover themselves, it also looks like Emma is going to be withe the Xmen at the endYellow Cyclone said:hooray whedon. lets just see how you explain how your girl-crush on kitty is going to be able to take down the ENTIRE hellfire club on her own...she can look like wolverine in that last panel all she wants, she wont be able to get 5 ft near nova. but i'm sure a deus ex machina will be written or something (perhaps a 2ndary "mutation" of being able to phase through pyshic attacks)![]()

Yeap, i also like the idea of Wolverine being vulnerable with stronger mutants, in some other comics or tv series or the movies Wolverine is portrayed almos like an invencible mutant who defeats everyone, Whedon is writing a more believeble Wolverine (even if he acts lika a 5 year old)JewishHobbit said:Why is everyone so up in arms about Kitty becoming the focus hero? She's not exactly a character that's always puting others in her shadow... I think it'd be cool to see her shine for a while.
Im satisfied with AstonishingBoba_Fett_123 said:Yeah, I'm not getting all the Kitty backlash. Emma's looking to get a royal ass-beating from her: I thought that would put her in everyone's good graces.
I guess comics fans are truly never satisfied.

However, if he's made Cyke and Wolvie, incapacitated just so he can have his beloved Kitty save the day that will be stupid. I don't think this will happen because I do expect some character growth from Cyke, and Wolvie is so popular that he can be comic relief for a short time so right now I'm cautiously optimistic.
