David Finch’s Demon art - now in color!

I love the light up symbol. I wish TDK would come out in a more timely fashion; I'd like to find out if the rest of it will be as surprisingly un-terrible as the first issue. Also, Finch art is pretty badass when cleaned up by Scott Williams' inks.

Yep this is the same Scorpiana

And Gaucho does not bust her because he wants some bow chicka wow wow :ninja:

Bleeding Cool is reporting that Batwoman has been delayed until the fall now.

What

Have you got a link hippie hunter

If this is true I am going to be so :cmad:

If those morons that run DC are trying to permanently delay or cancel Batwoman i will not hesitate for a second to boycott every single DC comic book

Batwoman is the only DC character I care about. They promised us her ongoing would be out in April it had better be out in April

Also don't blame DC for this. This is clearly Williams' fault. Why would DC want to permanently delay/cancel the continuation of a comic run that was critically and financially successful? It's Williams who has no idea on how to work with a schedule in mind.

If this is true all I can say is that the Batwoman ongoing comic book had better be out by Autumn at the latest

If the delays are because of the art i can sort of understand that but there had better not be any more delays

The Batwoman ongoing is the only dc comic book I give a **** about. Its the onky tutke this year i am actually excited about and it had better be released this year

I'm happy I live by "better late than never" motto when it comes to comics.

Well, in fairness to Williams, he did come right out and say he went on record not wanting DC to solicit for February to begin with, and even April he wasn't sure on. The guy can work on a schedule (if you remember, Rucka and his run on Detective had no significant delays), but he needs a lot of time. Not just because he's slow, but the amount of detail and styling to his art must be killer to actually draw. Hell, his covers probably are more time consuming than half an issue by a lot of artists.

Also, Williams gets a pass because it's Williams.

But can you blame DC for not wanting the hype surrounding Batwoman to die the way it did for Young Avengers because Marvel waited for Heinberg?

Well, I guess no, but when the artist says he probably won't be ready to the point of suggesting not putting a solicitation, you're just setting yourself up for a fall. It's kind of a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't situation, but Williams was pretty frank about the scheduling issue.

Word.

Then DC should have given it to some other artist who would have fit the book like Amy Reeder.

Well, that's 'what if' world and neither here nor there, really. Besides, she's working on the second arc right now, I believe, so yanking her from that to draw the first from scratch probably wouldn't help much in the scheduling area.

I just hope there are no further delays and that the Batwoman ongoing comic book comes out in the Autumn or sooner

I agree Watchman

The delays are still frustrating to me though

Batwoman matters to me i care about her. She is the only comic book character that really matters to me and I want her ongoing comic book to come out soon

I'm saying that they should have given it to her right from the get go in the first place. Her style fits Batwoman very well. And it looks like all the delays are the result of Williams. DC should fix this by making her the regular artist after the first arc.

As much as I like the current take on Batwoman, if she had a bad run, I'd probably drop the book in an instant as opposed to being totally butt hurt if Superman and Aquaman have bad runs or currently butt hurting the way I am with Titans.

I would be fine with Reeder being the main artist with Williams focusing on writing the Batwoman ongoing

Especially if it meant no further delays

Well, DC's still in the bad with this mentality, too. They should've taken the initiative and cut off slowpoke Williams from the get-go; his reputation as a slow artist is pretty well known. Of course, I really doubt they'd do that, since I see Williams' art as a big selling point for this series, and may very well hinge on the degree of success it has.

And, honestly, I don't know how afraid DC should be of losing momentum here. How long apart was the original Detective Comics run to issue zero of Batwoman? It was at least 6-7 months, and the sells were pretty damn good considering it was basically a glorified preview issue.

I would not

I will buy any comic book that features Batwoman any comic book at all. I will be buying her ongoing no matter what

I like Superman and Aquaman but would not hesitate to stop buying their comics if they had a bad run. But i will never stop buying comic books that feature Batwoman

She is my favourite comic book character ever

Batwoman hasn't been around long enough or been in enough comics or mediums outside of comics for her to be one of my favorite characters ever. All she's had is one excellent run and possibly an ongoing that starts off excellent.

Superman and Aquaman on the other hand....Aquaman is my favorite (or favourite as you British people prefer, I don't get why you guys have extra u's in your words) comic book character ever. Followed very closely by Superman and Deadpool. I flat out love Superman to the point of complete adoration and Deadpool entertains me to no end.

I like them but I don't care about them like I care about Batwoman

If DC killed off Superman or Aquaman or cancelled their comic books i would be dissapointed but not that bothered by it

If DC killed off Batwoman or cancelled her comic i would never buy another DC comic book ever

But why? I consider Batwoman to be significant in comic book history, but I can't fathom why anyone would love her that much so far. I can understand if she had more than just one excellent run and appeared in video games, merchandising, movies, television shows, etc. She's too fresh, too new, and the rest of the stuff with her in it has been rather generic and mediocre.

Let's not jump to conclusions. There's a lot about that scene that needs explaining.

The knight talks about the ever-ringing bells and questions in where and what time he is this time, seems rather clear to me. Granted the actual RoBW never stated that the omega sanction only jumps between time not also place. Just what Morrison kinda talked about on his interviews how he went with making RoBW focus on Gotham and Wayne history and cancelling his plans for a Roman Batman as an example.
