Where you go after issue 7 is to show Batman's mass influence. If there's one person more well connected and more powerful than the court, it's Bruce ****ing Wayne. The guy's best friend is Superman for ****'s sake. You have Bruce send out the Robins\to dig up as much dirt as you can on the known members. Batgirl hacks their network and spams them with the Trolololo guy. You have Batman Inc. out there fighting the Talons. You have the Justice League putting out any fires. Red Hood and the Outlaws are breaking old owl ladies' pinkies to get information. You have Wayne Enterprises buying out/influencing any Court legitimate business ventures. You show that for every Talon safehouse out there, there are 5 Bathouses. You have Gotham Central raiding all the Court's safehouses. You have the mother ****ing Vikki Vale drafting expose's on the Court's existence and activities. You have Alfred making scones from scratch that are to die for.

You have the Court exposed beaten, and humiliated. That's where you go.

Yeah. me neither. If they were so powerful already, and Batman had no idea they existed, what harm was he doing jumping around and beating up muggers?

It also bugs me how many Talons they had. The court has been around maybe ~300 years. They were able to find and freeze that many acrobat orphans in that amount of time?

New issue of Batwoman out next week :atp:

I cannot wait to see how this arc will conclude and what's going to be next for Kate, Maggie and Chase :hrt:

Is it back to or has he always been on venom? I feel like all of Secret Six was wiped away in new52.

Simone has said some if it is still in continuity but i dont know if Bane's time with the team is one of those things

I hope it is

I enjoyed Batman #11. A worthy conclusion to the Night of the Owls saga, with some impressive set-pieces, though I do feel that the foreboding build-up in the first half of the story was superior to the climactic action of the second half.

Batman & Robin #11 was bloody great, and for my money is almost as good as the more widely-celebrated "A-titles" of the line, Batman and Batman Incorporated. Really liked the pacing here, a nice balance between characterisation of Damien and Jason (and, for that matter, Batman and Gordon), and high-octane action. Quality read.

I was more than disappointed by Batman 11. Way too much talk. The 6 first issues of the court of owl were very interesting, but it went downhill after that.

Batman and Robin on the other hand, gets better and better. Tomasi, who made a great job on Nightwing, never fails to write great interactions between his characters. His Damian is great. This issue was top notch.

Batman and Robin has been pretty enjoyable so far hasn't it

Digging the current arc :)

So in the solicits for Batman 13 it mentions the Joker killing Jason

Just curious do we know how Jason came back in the new dcu as Infinite Crisis and Prime's wacky time punching antics never happened

They certainly come in handy.

Though I think the most recent issue of Inc left me a little confused with Talia's age: one would think that because she was supposedly conceived at Live Aid that she'd be 26 or thereabouts now, yet when she meets her mother she looks fairly decrepit. Whats going on there?

She looked like a teen when she met her mama to me. I also pegged her at mid 20's since she's now a mid 80's baby. With Bruce being a few years older than her.

I hadn't thought of that

Maybe her mother ages really poorly :ninja:

Yeah I don't know what the deal is with Melisande, that's kind of bugging me.

Ok here's another point that Morrison hasn't referenced yet that I'm going to predict will come into play at some point: Anne's curse on the Wayne bloodline.

That probably isn't in continuity now that Final Crisis/Return of Bruce Wayne never happened Oberon :(

They still exist in Batman Inc., which seems to exists in it's own bubble pocket continuity universe.

**** that. I don't want to part of a DC universe where Batman didn't dress up as a pilgrim and a cowboy. So, I'm going to basically try the Grant Morrison approach to the new continuity and ignore whatever disagrees with me.

That's definitely the way to go. It's not like contemporary books will reference past events anyway. So if I want to pretend Earth-2 Grundy is tied to Nekron, I will god dammit.

I got the impression they were around since the Roman times, with the Circus being to them the successor of the Gladiators.
