Wait... I though everybody was going nuts over this Greg Hurwitz guy on Dark Knight?
The ending to the Scarecrow arc did suck horribly.

If he can rebound with this Hatter arc, I'll say TDK is still quite good. But it can go either way at this point.

hurwitz's batman stories are like 'what-if' movie pitches, and we're okay with that for a spin-off title

Future News said:
Joker knew the identities of the bat-family, issue 17 took place in the batcave, and also he died

I feel like these people that constantly bash Snyders work are those cry babies that still can't get over the whole new 52 thing. Very very annoying.

I feel like I don't care what you feel. But I'm not angry at the new 52. I just think snyder's work after Batman#6 has been subpar. (it seems I don't have the right to think so unless I'm a crybaby though).

If you don't care how I feel then why did you respond to my comments?

I feel like those who bash snyder's work and don't like the new 52 have a different opinion than you.

Point being, quit being a churl, it's just an opinion.

It was just my opinion also. So why am I getting bashed?

Cuz it's Monday? Cuz you got a victim complex? Cuz they don't agree with you just as vehemently as you don't agree with them?

Could be any number of reasons. :o

Personally, I think it's because the idea of correlation between people not enjoying Snyder's Batman and people who can't get over the new 52 is just ****ing stupid.

Batwoman was :awesome: sauce this week

Loved seeing Kate and Wonder Woman kicking ass against Medusa's followers and Kate turning the Weeping Woman against Maro so he got what he deserved

Bones in his armour was very funky as well

I really dig Bette's new Flamebird costume too and i hope she's going to get payback against The Hook

And the art was great stuff the scene with Wonder Woman fighting the Hydra was just incredible :hrt:

Birds of Prey was neat this week as well. I'mma liking Starling with the new Talon who's joined the team they have a Cass and Steph sort of vibe here that was fun to read

Naturally I'm shipping the two of them together already and hoping they're going to end up as a couple

Not a fan of the way Nightwing has been handled in the New 52. I thought after a stint as Batman, he would be written as a much stronger character, a class below the trinity. But it seems he is back to being written as a second rate hero

Because yer being a dick about it.

You can have a differing opinion. But don't call those with an opposite opinion annoying cry babies just because they disagree with you.

I thought batwoman was bad again this week. Far too wordy....which sounds dumb, I know. But it was just so much pointless exposition, it became mind numbing.

Fantastic art from j.h. Williams, but that goes without saying.

I love the whole inner monologue thing personally but I really like it when my comics are wordy with me it bugs me when a comic reads really quickly and feels too 'light'

I loved this months issue I thought the scenes of Batwoman tackling the Medusa cultists and Wonder Woman fighting the Hydra were great and Bette taking on the Hook after he put her in a coma back in the first arc got a  from me i hope its her who takes him down next issue

This issue was far better than the previous issues, but it still has a lot of problems. I did find it to be a tad bit too wordy, particularly when Medusa was involved and there was just a tad bit too much internal dialogue. I like internal monologues, but this was kind of ridiculous. And overall, this arc has been going on for way too long.

However, on the plus side, a lot of the problems of the previous issues have been fixed, J.H. Williams' unconventional layouts of the art at least didn't get in the way of the narrative this time around, and while it was a tad bit wordy, at least it wasn't as horrific like it was in previous issues. It's actually readable this time around and I didn't hate it. That said, I'm still not liking this arc and it's on the verge of getting dropped if the next arc doesn't perform (thankfully, the issues solicited in the next arc look pretty damn cool).

Also, Batwoman would be a much better suited member for the Justice League of America than Catwoman.

Be there lots of words or fewer words, I just want the words to be relevant. But most of this seemed like pointless exposition.

And batwoman would be more suited for the JLA over pretty much almost everyone that is currently in the JLA.

Asides from Katana and Catwoman, I think that's a pretty damn good US government sponsored Justice League roster. The Martian Manhunter is a must for the Justice League franchise, a Green Lantern that is working to prove his innocence with the US government, Green Arrow already has a working relationship with Steve Trevor, a Latino to please demographics in Vibe, a young Taylor Swift like figure for people to love in Stargirl, and the traditionally uber-conservative Hawkman. The only ones that don't really work are the Japanese Katana and the criminal Catwoman. Batwoman (an agent of the US government) and Black Lightning would be better suited IMO.

I think batwoman would be far more appropriate than vibe or star girl. But that's just me, I don't read JLA anyways, so I guess I don't really care, ha ha.
