Oh ****, you're right, he does say "our". I thought he said "your". And yeah, he is full of it, because he's African-American, not super deathly pale.

I don't recall that scene. All I remember is him saying is that Alice has her sister's eyes. And if that scene did occur, he's lying. Batwoman and her sister are portrayed as incredibly pale women. Director Bones on the other hand, is black.

I'd actually forgotten that...what with him not having skin most of the time. But that does make it unlikely thoygh not impossible he could still be their half brother

And Williams has said that Jacob has been keeping some secrets from Kate...perhaps this is one of them

But I wouldn't put it past Bones to be lying just to try and manipulate Beth either

Oberon Sexton said:
I think Bones is who he says he is.

Makes me wonder what he's up to and what he has in mind for both Alice and Kate

Also.....I just listened to Grant Morrison compare the idea of Batman to the idea of God and Jesus. I feel complete as a human being.

Batman died for your sins! :ninja:

So I know Tim is in Teen Titans, but how often has he popped up in the Bat-books? Does he still have a substantial place in the Bat Family?

He has appeared in a few issues of Batman, Batman Inc and in at least two issues of Batman and Robin but they're mostly cameos.

Personally, I don't feel like Tim is even part of the Bat-family anymore. Despite appearing on the cover of TDK #9 fighting a Talon, he got to. Unlike His brotherly relationship with Dick has now been switched to Jason, evident in his dialogue in TT #16. Plus we haven't seen anything on his days with Batman before leaving Gotham.

I wish we had Red Robin ongoing again. And one that isn't written by Scott Lobdell, like most comics under the Young Justice title.

Only in the previous continuity. I stopped reading Batwoman months ago but I don't think anything concrete about Bones has been established yet in the New 52.

Man Morrison wasn't kidding when he said this arc is going to leave people in tears.

Enter Scott Snyder's pet character Harper Row as the new Robin

I'm not really trying to learn details about the spoiler, but I read that Damian was going to die. For some reason, I just don't feel like it'd be perminant yet because there's still 4 issues left in Morrison's run... we're dealing with Al Ghuls, which like their Lazarus Pits, and Talia has a thing for harvesting Damian body parts. We'll see where the story goes.

But if Damian is perminately dead though... it'd be a shame. He turned into such a great character over the years. He fits right in with the Robin mythos now, right along with Dick, Jason, and Tim. My biggest question though would be, what comes of the Batman & Robin book?

Remember how there was a rumour about a book focusing on each of the Robins and their adventures with Batman? I think we know why that rumour arose now. Batman & Robin might become that book.

ugh I really hope it isn't a permanent thing Damian has really grown on me and I actually really liked the idea that grant Morrison portrayed in one of the batman and robin issue's before the new 52 the idea that dick takes over than Damian a dark scary batman and then Damian trains terry but whatever....plus it seems unbelievable that batman would let this happen.. after jason bruce always says never again, and somehow he messes up with his son? makes me appreciate death of the family so much more no unnecessary death and still a great story.

I hadn't heard that rumor but it makes sense, especially since immediately following Damian's death, Red Hood shows up in the book. That could be cool.

i know! i was just watching cnn and that MAJOR SPOILER was announced out of the blue. newscasters need to give spoiler warnings dammit

Meh, not really all that shocking. Was listening to Morrison on K. Smith's Fat Man on Batman and Morrison let a spoiler go right around the time they were discussing his run with Batman and using Damian and Smith had to cut it out and replace it with an explanation then continue with the conversation that was taped, not to mention Grant said he initially was going to kill the character off previously anyway so......that's that. Not really a shocker, he's a Robin.....obviously something was going to happen to the poor kid. Oh well, don't bother me at all. That's why there's Lazarus Pits, revival, simply ignoring the fact he died, spiritual body changing, dreams, alternate realities, ect ect. Been the scape goat for years, will still continue to be.

Ugh, I hope it isn't permanent. I love Damian. I know he's Morrison's creation and killing him will close off his arc, but Damian's grown beyond a Morrison plot point and has blossomed into a really interesting character. Sounds like it might be permanent though. Which blows.

What's the point of even spoiler tagging anything at this point?

I wanted to keep myself unspoiled, but with every comic news site posting articles and reaction threads, its pretty obvious what happens. :o

Now the question is will Bruce mope over it for the next 20 years like he did with J. Todd.

Oh give me a break, will he "mope" over it. Todd was like a son to him and he couldn't protect him. And now he's gonna actually lose his real
Son. Will he mope over it for 20 years. Sure anyone who loses their 10 year old son will "mope" over it for the rest of their lives. Will they move on yes, but it will always bother them obviously.

He only moped until Tim came along and was the best character ever. :o

Lol, grow a personality.
