I'm probably getting overly enthusiastic but I really hope Croc, Bloody Mary and Hook become Kate's permanent rogues. They go so well with the style Williams set up, plus..they're all urban legends! A crocodile living in the sewers, bloody Mary, a hook wielding killer..it works so well.

I'm pretty sure that both of the tattoos on her that Williams depicts are military symbols, not LGBT symbols. The tatoos are beautiful. I love the red star on her back most of all. Its a proud statement of who she is, that she is a proud lesbian woman and I'm getting one done on my back just like it. Her arm tatoo is sexy as well though I dont know if that one has any deeper significance or meaning. It still looks good though
I love women with tatoos![]()

I don't mind the fact that she is pale. The pale skin works good in contrasting her Batwoman outfit. But I think that Williams goes a bit overboard with the paleness. Reeder does a much better job in depicting her rather pale skin. Her pale skin looks more natural as opposed to Williams making her look like Powder. And I love how pale she is. It's sexy and gorgeous![]()
Williams does a fantastic job in drawing Batwoman in costume, but I'm not fond of his Kate. Everything else he draws in the book is utterly fantastic though.I personally cannot wait to see Williams drawing her again starting in issue twelveI think he draws her really well
I actually like the Kate/Maggie relationship. It's way better than the Kate/Renee relationship which was terrible. I've been feeling the development with it.I don't like the Kate/Maggie relationship. They've spent way too little time actually detailing their emotional and personal connection, and way too much time on their sex life. It really could be reduced to "hey, we're both lesbians, we're attracted to each other, let's ****!"
Their also the only dc couple i care about at all. I hope they stay together forever
I loved how the writing had it going on at the same time as Bette's beating. But I just couldn't help but roll my eyes at seeing the women's O faces.
Please tell me an O face that doesn't look ridiculous.

Mysti, are you fresh out of the closet? honest question.

While I like the Kate/Maggie relationship, I think I prefer Superman/Lois Lane, Batman/Talia, Dick Grayson/Barbara Gordon, Aquaman/Mera, and Robin/Superboy.

Scarecrow King said:I feel the same way when it's hetero sex. It always feels like a cry by creators for people to stop treating comics as a childish medium by ramping up the sex and the violence. When there are better ways to accomplish that goal.

That's if I ever go to a comic book convention. The only comic book creators I have ever met are Steve Skeates at the Canandaigua Comic Con where I got to ask him how was working on Aquaman, Ross Campbell who shops at my comic shop, and I caught a glimpse of Art Baltazar at the comic book shop in Canandaigua at Free Comic Book Day.This is indeed true and I think that's why Kate got the tatoo as a proud declaration of her sexual identity
Hey if you ever see Greg Rucka at a convention would you ask hin hippie hunter![]()
Yeah, I'm really curious about this as well.I'd be interested to know if I'm right or if it is a reference to her millitary background
Though either way i suppose its still a statement about who she is. Kate's sense of honour and her time with the millitary as well as her families is just as important a part of her identity as her sexuality![]()
which is why they shouldn't put them in comic books.
Greg Land.![]()

Yeah, I'm really curious about this as well.
Was Greg Land ever good? I think I saw a picture Talia al Ghul that was actually DRAWN by him and it seemed ok.

Scarecrow King said:I literally eye rolled at the convenient nano-tube armor that Kate now wears, which really takes any drama out of the story. The thing that makes the Bat books so engaging for me is the reality of the danger that they're in because they're human. That danger has been removed. It's not like she wasn't wearing armor before, that she jacked from the military. Now we have a costume origin over another costume origin. ugh.
And I hated the Croc design. It was awesome, except for the stupid ****ing eyes. Other than that, he looks like Godzilla which is awesome. But those stupid ****ing eyes ruin everything.
