Currently loving Nightwing, I think it's a great story they have going here.

I thought the first 3 issues were solid, but I've been disappointed by everything since then. The pointless Batgirl crossover, the side story with the clown. I just think they've been dancing around what I liked about the story arc, which was the personal aspect for Dick. Not just for Nightwing, but for Dick.

I plan on sticking with the title through the end of the Court of Owls cross over, then I'm dropping the book. It's just not giving me as much bang for my buck as other titles are.

At least Liefield has always been terrible. Its sad to think that Land used to be a good artist before he started tracing pictures of porn stars and claiming that they were Emma Frost

I think the new costume while tougher isn't going to be invulnerable so all the drama won't be gone but normal weapons like knives or guns won't be a threat for her.

It cold stopped gunfire last issue. For all intents and purposed, the suit is invulnerable. Kate said herself, she's a damn superwoman. Which, in the realm of the Bat books, is pretty stupid for a title character to be.

Gunfire it can stop true but her rogues gallery looks like its going to be supernatural in nature with spirits like the Weeping Woman and Bloody Mary and Croc who's powered up by magic so I think she won't be able to rely too heavily on her armour against them

Yeah, it's Land, there actually was a period in time where Land was actually a decent artist back when he worked for DC. But his Marvel work has been nothing but tracing porn pictures and he's been getting worse and worse.

Hmm...i thought he stopped tracing since the Marvel mandate about tracing couple of years ago.

There used to be a huge thread about Land habit of tracing on newsarama a while ago. Apparently Joe Q noticed it and not long after, he basically told all marvel artists that tracing is now forbidden ( Just waht i read, not sure if it's true)

Apparently all his recent works are free of tracing...or so they said.

Nah, he still traces alot. Marvel defend him by saying how swift of a hard working man he is and how they can rely on him if they need a fast guest-star artist now and then.

Just because the relaunch happened wouldn't mean Morrison would be changing his scripts. Geoff Johns established that JPV was dead with Blackest Night and Morrison & Johns are buddies.

It still seems Jason is the most obvious choice, Morrison talked about Jason being redeemable in Comic Con and bam a few months later we get Incorporated #6.

Whatever the case it seems this new Wingman will be extremely involved in the Talia/Bruce war.

I am terribly disappointed with Nightwing. After all the experience he gained as Batman he seems to make rookie mistakes, and shows no reason as to why he should've replaced Batman. Also, I am REALLY not happy with the state of his relationship with Babs.

I used to think it was either Jason, or Superman. Superman because it would seem a very Morrison-y thing to do to give Batman a team of people with no powers and then top it off with a god, and if you look at his whole story, who's the one character really close to Batman not featured prominently yet? I thought it was Jason for the obvious reasons, but now that he has his own ongoing free from the bat-family i don't really see him being Wingman.

If he could actually draw proper expressions instead of tracing random ones out of magazines, he'd actually be quite good, IMO.

I actually really enjoy Greg Land's art. Maybe I'm just partial to his psylocke .


B&R7 was pretty awesome Mysti. I really loved the art and Bruce coming close to breaking his rule. Of course I would have preferred if Bruce had been pushed further in order to get that close but I was entertained nonetheless. Really enjoyed Damian throughout the entire issue too and not just at the end.

Well by Fabien Nicieza on the DC boards he was addressed as JVP as that made the most sense, but in published material he was simply referred as Azrael, but c'mon thats like saying was it confirmed X was an X, c'mon now!
