We should form a public interest group.
If only it could be effective. DC apparently feels it's better to push people who write a more balanced Batman like Chuck Dixon and Alan Grant away & keep them from working for them ever again which is a real shame. I mean why not hire someone like Matt Wagner or Darwyn Cooke for 'tec?
I guess cause those guys stand up for their creative voice and don't get pushed around by editorial easily. In turn they look at people who's only perception of Batman is the works of Miller (RE: Tony Daniel, Finch and Snyder) to carry the torch instead. I don't mind Snyder granted because at least he strives for a little more. I guess it's since they're easier to control from a creative standpoint being that they're not really vets in comic writing but it sucks that an iconic series like 'tec needs to go through such a hindrance in the first place.
