I don't understand why he shouldn't. What the hell is going on with that design regarding the whole containment thing anyway? It looks like all of his cold is escaping through the open neck and his naked f***ing arms.

It shows technology has improved since the 90s.

No. Make sense, Drzzlebutt. If the man needs cold and he's going to be walking around in normal temperatures, he has to have something keeping the cold from his suit in. That costume makes no sense on top of being ugly. Two strikes right there. Plus, they gave Mr. f***ing Freeze, a sophisticated supergenius scientist whose only thoughts are for his frozen wifesicle, the limp mohawk of an 18-year-old hipster *****ebag. Strike the third.

1. The Mr. Freeze redesign sucks. It makes no sense for the character to wear a costume that leaves him so exposed. Plus, the lack of glass dome is just silly. If thhey can come up with some b.s. medical cure for Barbara to walk again, they can come up with some sort of unbreakable glass that Batman won't be able to do any damage to, like what Corp suggested.

2. The redesign totally clashes with the Batman Annual cover. Where he has the dome. And no hair.

That Freeze redesign is a vast improvement over the "Oh i have a glass bubble on my head. If you break it, i lose". Same deal with Bane's venom pump line. Too many Batman villains have easy weak spots, but now Mr. Freeze doesn't have his.

Not to mentiona Hook gun vastly overweights your opinions, that is the power of Hook guns.

Mr. Freeze has the greater weakness of "If I can't sustain a lower body temperature, I DIE." I think that the helmet is an essential part, as it represents Freeze's isolation from humanity because of his condition.

I'd have been good with the Arkham City design. He looks like a walking tank in that.

In fact, wasnt Joe Chill in Year Two, which was published in the late 80s?

Yeah technically but one could argue that since there was no mention of Joe Chill ever in the 8 yrs of post-crisis even before then outside of Y2 (which was retconned pretty much almost as soon as it finished due to poor reception) that it was pretty much that deal since Y1.

RE: Freeze's new design. I think it's kinda stupid to make him look so similar to New 52 Captain Cold on a more shallow level. As if it wasn't enough already that people considered Freeze a Cold knock off but with emotions and a glass helmet. Just like when they tried to make Ice similar to Killer Frost it pretty much just makes the character seem derivative of another. I would've preferred a more classic approach personally.

My mistake. Totally forgot she was back to normal(well, as normal as she can be I guess). The point stands however. He isn't right in the head either way.
