Official Bowling Thread

I enjoy bowling, though I don't get to as often as I'd like. I hope to pick it up more.

 

I suck so much at bowling

 

Hmmm wonder where fran got this idea....

I like bowling, 195 average.. I used to bowl a lot. But, not so much anymore.

I do have my own ball and shoes, along with pull along case to hold them.

Oh, I almost forgot. I have a bowling towel and a cloth rosin bag.

I wish I was still in a bowling league.
I remember about a year ago a few of my friends were going to form a bowling league team, and I was going to be their chain smoking alcoholic coach that would give them terrible advice and then yell at them and throw chairs at them when they'd screw up.
That would have been awesome..

 

Bowling is like golf: it's a sport where you can shoot the breeze with friends and just hang out and have a good time doing it. I am, however, a terrible bowler. But it is fun.

Though I agree, as much as I like to bowl, golfing has my heart.

*I was in a league but I was awful and I always had school the next day so I was really asking for trouble. I still have my cute little bowling shoes.....in the box.
I know my local aka union has a team but there are some loud, obnoxious people I really don't want to deal with, especially while they're intoxicated.
I might start looking to join a group at some point. I hate to waste such cute shoes.

I used to bowl with my thumb outside of the hole...and this old guy yelled at me, "You're doing it wrong, you're developing a bad habit. Do it PROPERLY!"

I was really bummed out and said, "SHUTUP DAD!"

 

Yes... It's awesome, it looks like ther wife or mother sews it on for them.
