Evans has got big 'beach muscles' like shoulders, chest and biceps, but Hemsworth is all-around bulky and dominates through sheer size.

Which fits the way the characters are presented.

Thor is supposed to be huge. I know many want a huge Cap, but honestly, Cap can't be too huge. Thor needs to look bigger than Cap, and if Cap is too muscular, he would be less agile than he is in the comics. Cap's muscles are proportioned in such a way he is peak strength while not losing mobility. I think Evans looks very fine for that balance.

I agree.

Both have physiques that are way above what your average joe can attain but are similiary just as different themselves. To put it in it's simplest terms, Thor is a power guy and Cap is an agility guy - anyone wants a great example of this only needs to look at Alan Davis' artwork and how he gives the characters that he draws different builds according to their abilities; as opposed to some artists who just use 'muscle-template A' for every character that they draw.

I agree 100% with both of you guys. It seems that people forget, Cap mostly uses his agility than his strength. Thor is the guy throwing heavy things. Cap is the guy manuevering in giant crowds of bad guys and making fancy moves. He's not a brute, he is finese.

People automatically associate "Super Soldier" with a guy who's muscular to the point where it doesn't make sense. Just because he's a super solider, doesn't mean he has to be the jacked beyong belied. I see it as the peak physicality as the individual person. How I look when I take the serum may look different from another guy who takes it.

I love how any time anyone talks about wanting to see a bigger Cap, it immediately becomes "We can't have this monsterish bulked up roid raging juice monkey" sentiment ... which is not what anyone is asking for.

With the serum Cap should've "filled out" .... Evans has even stated in the past that he has no legs, which is true. He's more vanity muscle. Really lean with a good chest and arms.
