Lol. Gotten so used to seeing bald chested men in the media (models, footballers - thats the round ball type!! - several actors etc) Evans waxed chest didn't even register with me until I saw it spoken about here

Doesn't matter in the slightest one way or another though. If anyone wants a reason for it they might simply have thought Evans natural dark chest hair combined with the dirty blonde head hair looked a bit odd. 'Collars and cuffs'...betrays many a bottle blonde

Good point, he's already wearing boots to protect his bare feet when running on gravel, so they already know the authenticity is shot. The last thing they need are dark chest hairs on Captain America.

But I really think we're seeing the beginning of the end here. Next I expect to hear that the war scenes are actually being shot as mini-musicals and the film's finale will be a ping-pong battle between Cap and Skull.

Apparently Joe Johnston said in an interview that he thought entertaining movies 'were silly' so he's actually going to make the film really drab and boring. Although I do believe there will be one scene where Steve Rogers goes and watches a very entertaining film in the cinema, just as a nice ironic head nod to the whole notion of 'quality'.

Seriously, if all anyone did from now until we get an actual trailer is talk about Chris Evans' chest hair or lack thereof, I'd find myself extremely entertained.

Evans naturally has body hair, he obviously shaved his chest. He's not naturally hairless.

This chest hair talk is funny and confusing as hell. When I viewed the picture all I paid attention to is the fact that Evans looks like he is in great shape and is sexy as all get out. And that picture proves once and for all that he is sporting blond hair, dirty blond hair. He would have looked silly with hair blonder than that so all is well.
