I am starting to feel like both Thor and Cap are going to be better Iron Man (as films...I don't see Evans or Hems beating RDJ). Maybe this is me geeking out a bit much over what we've seen so far, but...I just love all that we have seen from these films. I feel like they're heading in the right direction.

He stated that they tried to use that method but it didn't look quite good. So they used a different technique to make his actual body look smaller than normal

Johnston probably gave up. Fincher would've done it.

One guy plays the twins from the Social Network by the way.

Why are we all over Finchers nuts in here? He's not directing it.

Even if they can't CGI his head, they can "shave" his body down with CG. They did it for Spider-Man and a few other movies.

They used something non CG on an old school movied called "Thinner" maybe they could try that route.

They didn't 'shave down' Tobey's body with CGI in that, they put his head on somebody elses' body. lol

Human nature - you've got to love it, havent you?

Give a person a piece of gold for free and some will complain that it isnt platinum.

Indeed, one's ability to be facetious and use humour. My comment was in fact facetious and I quoted someone else's comment, whom I won't name for 'flaming' reasons. I think he looks ideal, he's in perfect shape.

Welcome to the hype jesusmagicka

Yeah they used a body double but CGI'd Maguire's face onto the body which was seamlessly done.

The problem with a body double is... in movies like Spider-Man, it's only needed for a few shots, actually no, like... only... one scene. lol

In Captain America, how many scenes of Steve are we going to see, pre-serum? ...it might start to look a little 'off' after a while.

Ummm...WHO CARES ABOUT WHAT FINCHER OR RAIMI DID IN THEIR FILMS!!!

They're not the director. JJ is. He used a different method. You guys may like that super imposing a face on a smaller person route, but obviously, JJ doesn't. Why judge his method before you see any footage pre-serum? Are you that desperate to see the film fail that you must make silly complaints like not CGI-ing over a smaller person, JJ making a small remark, or saying Evans is too young (despite the fact, Cap was YOUNG in WWII).

Some of you people just can't be pleased and make the silliest of remarks/complaints

I'm not worried about it at all. I'm sure they'd find a way. Some people today just want to know everything about the special effects before a film comes out.

What’s up with Evans shaving/waxing? I am not really complaining or anything but it wasn’t like he was a man beast or something prior to whatever hair removal procedure he did. Or is it a hollyweird thing and hair chests are not in this season?

and people thought he might not of been big enoguh the dude shares a protein shake with Hemsworth

oddly enough (and you can call me crazy) i find him stronger and more noble than Hemsworth's thor !:ninja:

I know you guys are excited and all but Hemsworth is still bigger and much more impressive looking when it comes to build, of course I cant comment on the noble part.

^I know SatEl right!?

I brought up the point of his shaved chest a couple of days ago and people were mocking me! But the only reason I brought it up is that Evans hasn't exactly been shy about flaunting his pecs around, in movies or outside of them. So people (especially of the female variety) know how he looks shirtless. Only I wouldn't call him a man beast. It's not like he has Robin Williams levels of hairyness. :)

Several arguments have been brought up including the procedure involved burning his body hair off, that's how Steve Rogers is canonically represented (sans the hair) and it's just a way to promote his chiseled phisique and make him look more wholesome.

Thor has always been bigger than Cap, so Hemms should be bigger.
