I see the thread has devolved into the "that guy is too skinny" arguement.
Poor you.

Hollywood trainers have done more with less. I do not understand why Evans CURRENT size should even be in issue considering he's young, healthy, and has a good base physique to build upon. He should be able to put on weight very easily by the time the movie comes around.
Rock, Evans is probably 300% more fit than you'll ever be. He's in perfect shape as of now and could add a bit of muscle to his frame before shooting. I'll argue the TIH Tim Roth thing until I die if I have to.
Keep dreamin' bud. Been liftin' for 10 years.
Poor everyone.Poor you.![]()

Damn bro, only 10? I've been lifting for 20, I am so cool at my gym. chicks love me and ****. sucks man, you must be weak.

Dorky Fresh just posted this in the manip section and is spot on with what I'd want.......

Not sure what you're trying to say here.Better scrap the whole dang comic then.

studio interaction? who was thinking that? Cause I wasnt.Other studios Marvel movies will never interact together, that was never Marvel's plan. Marvel is waiting/hoping the other studios will let the rights to those character lasp, then they can put them under the Marvel Studios umbrella and will reboot them. Like with Hulk and Incredible Hulk, they really don't have a connection, they exist as seperate enitities. So once Fox doesn't make a FF related movie for however many years, that franchise is basically like Ang Lee's Hulk, completely dead. Marvel wants the Fantastic Four in this universe, they'll reboot it like they did the Incredible Hulk.
As for your period piece, WW2 as a prequel idea, when Cap gets frozen, he's perfectly perserved. That's the whole point of Cap in modern day, he's a man out of time. 65+ years have passed in the real world, but for Cap it's been one day, in both mind and body, the ice and Super Solider Serum made it so he didn't age at all.

Also, i hope we get the 616 suit rather than the Ultimate one. Its timeless, classic, iconic.
Well aren't you special?
I hate weight lifting/gym guys. Every one I've ever met is an arrogant prick.
Fortunately, it seems that you're not 1 of them.![]()
LOL .... I'm not a roid-head. I train because I like to live healthy.
t:With the exception of the 90s (where every superhero was a bodybuilder, even Cyclops..a guy whose original nickname was "slim" lol) & obvious artistic exaggeration, I don't think Cap is generally drawn huge in comics, especially in relation to the guys where size is even more important. That said, certain artists draw everyone big & I think it's just a style thing & noone really complains unless they get the relative proportions between different heroes wrong. Comic art can be abstract from an artistic point of view like real art.It was a discussion about believability as far as Cap being able to maneuver at the size he's been drawn at thru the years. I was surprised at some of the objection given that you don't hear it about the comics. Then someone brought up this is a different "medium" and that's fine .....but it's still not accurate. The movie is supposed to be a blend between a period piece and fantasy so my point was that they should find some middle-ground on his physique. Not over-exaggerated like in the comics, but not just "good" shape either. I want it to fully encompass what I'd think would be a super-soldier ..... mind, skills, and body.

with most opinions varying between normal looking athletic man to really superhuman looking athletic man (more what I'm looking for). For a real actor without CGI assistance, I think Evans (plus months of super-intense workout) is about as close as we could expect to get.Good.
I'm glad you're not 1 of those muscly, waxed chest, spray tanned *****ebags.t:

So to address what you said, I doubt anyone really wants the over-exaggerated level of the comics at their most beastly (apart from Spoons if he's in this threadt

I didn't know about the vegetarian thing. Is that something he just started?Well what we could expect for "Evans" ..... speaking of which, I'll be curious to see how they pack on a little bulk given that he's doing the whole vegetarian thing and he's got only 3 months.
