Anyone else thinks that this Haley is kinda ugly?? I mean. comon....I always need a hot chick in a superhero film. This Haley-thing looks like it s about 35. Wiki tells me she s still in her 20s. Well, that sure is a bad shape for an woman in her 20s.

However, Maggi Gyllenhaal from TDK and Gwyneth Paltrow from Iron Man weren t that beautiful either. I miss those good old days when hotties like Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Garner were in hero Flicks

Dunst? DUNST? She's fugly with a capital F. And Alba, while hot, couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Garner's a better actress but was stiil quite miscast as a swarthy greek assassin chick. There's nothing 'greek' about her.

I'd take Paltrow's Pepper Potts (personally dont think she's ever looked better than in the IM films) over Dunst's Mary Jane any day of the week.

There's nothing more sad than a bunch of guys on the internet reviewing the looks of actresses. "Her nose is a couple of millimeters too big for my tastes". This is why I don't go into casting threads for female characters.

Dunst in SM1 I'd take, but the sequels no way. Anyway, who cares about how hot the leading chick is? These aren't Michael Bay movies. I for one, would like to focus on the characters and performance. Not just there to be eye candy.

Paltrow and Pfieffer are the only truly great ladies of comic book films.

I'm with you on all counts above.

Dunst has always looked like snaggled tooth trailer trash to me.

Haley isn't ugly by any stretch of the imagination. She looks like a normal gal, which feels right for this kind of movie. Something like Sin City or even a Fantastic Four has an over the top quality, so you can get away with something as rediculous as having Jessica Alba portray a brilliant scientist.
