Have been since Index #3. I also helped out with a couple trades coming out in August, and a couple more next year includng Spider-Girl digests.

I didn't know that. Way to go. How'd you pull that one off and exactly what do you do and what is your title?

I'm just a freelance writer on the Index. All my more impressive titles are outside of Marvel. In fact, just had a book I worked on come out on Saturday.

Hey guys, was inspired by recent news of Ben's return. Putting together a little site which will hopfully become a great Ben resource.

If you guys could look over the appearances, and make sure I'm not missing a single thing, and also, if you have any scans of the more recent Ben appearances you would like to share, post em up here so I can add them.

Well don't give lackluster information. What was the book called and by what company so I can look it up. If one of my online friends is doing well I'd like to support him where I can (provided you don't, you know, suck a lot :)).

Yeah... I pick up a few "indies"... tell us what books you're working on...

:yay:

Well, the one that just came out is an all-ages anthology called Iconic by members of the Comicbook Artists Guild. I was an editor and wrote a 6-page strip: http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=4339457. It'll be up on Amazon soon.

I'm also working on a series called Hell's Blood with issue #2: www.hellsblood.net

Down the pike, I'm heading up a prose anthology with CAG as well as Iconic 2 and a 6-strip story for our webcomic CAG DOG, and two self-publishing efforts (provided I can find cheap or free art labor). I've also got a book that was supposed to be done for Small Press Idol last year that I may have FINALLY landed a stable artist on. Hopefully. Maybe.

I've also been named Editor-in-Chief of Guild Works Publications, and once we finalize our publishing deals we're gonna start on a horror anthology.

Heh well, hate to tell ya most of the work I do is pro bono outside the Marvel stuff. It's all exposure work or just because. So unless ya like volunteerin' yer time, don't think you'd want me hirin' ya fer anything.

However, if yer lookin' to break in CAG's a good starting point. It's what got me where I am. That and Spiderfan.

Hey, more good news, just in case you haven't seen it yet:

From the minds behind the crossover that changed comics forever and the artist that introduced Spider-Man to President Obama, it’s six issues of twists and turns that will shock fans old and new alike! Be here as Peter Parker’s worst nightmare begins again…now with an ending you have to see to believe!
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

And I have to say, WOOOHOOOOO!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as it's kept out of continuity then I'm cool with it. If they do this and say it's the new Clone Saga and that the old Clone Saga never happened... I quit.

I can totally see it. Due to OMD, things changed. The Clone Saga really did happen, but this is how it happened now that things have changed and MJ wasn't married to Peter. So it's a short thing without all the 'bad' stuff.

And then people will start questioning Norman's return and the baby and Kaine and Marvel will backpeddle and say 'tough, this is how it happened'.

I choose not to think about that. We're getting Scarlet Spider back and that is all I care about.

I choose to think about it because if they crap all over Ben like they've crapped all over Peter then I see no point in supporting it. I honestly have no faith in Marvel when it comes to Spider-Man.

Oh if we're talking about no faith in marvel than I agree with you totally. Marvel lost whatever faith I had left when the ****storm that is Ultimatum hit. But right now I'm just happy to see Scarlet Spider again.

hmmmm X-men Forever, Clone saga retold...whats next????

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!! OH GOD YEAH - new ending!? ben takes over as peter!? who knows I suspect ben might survive this

I don't think Ben should take over but I would love to see Ben stay around.
