How do you guys think Gambit should be introduced?

I think X4 should open with some kind of Morlock Masacre. We should see a glimps of Gambit in the shadows. Perhaps we can see him save one Morlock and leave before the X-Men come.

I think Gambit is one character who's history would fit with the realism of the movies. Nothing in his past (that I can think of) is extreamly unrealistic.

Well, in his solo series he did travel back and forth in time a bit. I really don't think realism should be a factor. I mean, we are talking X-men here.

If Sinister is in the sequals Gambit will be there to, it would also be a perfect time to bring back Sabretooth. They are both the most notable characters that have been part of Mr. Sinisters Marauders. With Mr. Sinister a a villian that also gives me a lot of hope that Cyclops will return and never really died in the first place.

I can see why he says Ryan Gosling lol, but I don't know about that. I would like to audition for a Gambit role if ever possible.

Anybody else like this guy? that is if his acting skills are up to par.

I’ve always liked Gambit. He’s not one of my favorite characters, but I don’t dislike him in the least. However, I can understand why they haven’t added him to the movies. Considering the past 3 films have been fairly wolverine oriented, and the two characters are quite similar if you think about it, both being loners, both having fairly mysterious origins.

If they’re just going add him as a secondary cameo character, then it really doesn’t matter who they cast for him. But if they are going to allow the character to develop meaningfully then I’d really like to see an actor like Jonathon Rhys Meyers play Gambit.

Definitely has the physical presence to carry the character. He’s also a talented actor, won a golden globe for his work in the mini-series Elvis. I enjoyed the work he did in Match-Point and Vanity Fair too.
