I honestly think this is one role which is perfect for,, yes you've guessed it....................Mathew McConaughey.

Regardess of what some posters think on the hype - I maintain that the guy can actually act. That coupled with the fact that both facially and physically, he looks the part and also has that natural Oliie charm and charisma sets him apart from the rest in my book.

Conner's not white though, I can't think of an actor that could accurately stay true to his racial make up

He's half asian and half white. Not many actors out there that fit the role and have that racial make-up. Just saying Gossling is better off as a younger character because even Smallville's Green Arrow looks older than him right now.

He's also part black so he has blonde hair, bronze skin and noticeably foreign eyes. Basically only Tyson Beckford and Tiger Wood look even remotely like him.

In all the comics I've read with him he comes off like a white guy with slightly Asian exotic features.
