I'm not big on the idea of Hugo Weaving as Sinestro. He can act, that's for sure, but his voice doesn't fit the character, IMO. I've always kind of pictured Sinestro as having a more "normal" sounding voice, nothing too deep or too high pitched. Something maybe along the lines of a Harrison Ford voice, maybe ( for lack of a better voice off the top of my head ). Sinestro's kind of a hard casting unless you're going to use digital manipulation as the actor kind of needs a longer, thin face. Can't really think of anyone who'd fit the bill just right at the moment, though.

I Agree

Nathon Fillion really is the only one suited for Hal imo. After watching Slither and Firefly I don't understand why WB isn't knocking this guy's door down to put him in a leading role for a trilogy. He'd carry it well.

He'd pull it off really well

Probably the age thing. The last couple of years have really made him look a bit older (yes, I admit to watching Desperate Housewives, please don't shoot me).

But I like him. He looks like a man, not a boy. I'm sick of 25 year olds playing superheroes (not thinking Spider-Man, he is supposed to be young).

But if they are planning an ensamble of GL movies, then Fillion will be up in his 40's when the sequels are out. But if he keeps his looks, like Brad Pitt and co. why not.

But that said, hire Brad Pitt as hal. Could see that too. But he is almost 10 years older then Fillion ^^

Fillions my first choice. But I doubt WB will go for him. Bastards :cmad:

Well keep in mind, Hal's a little gray when he goes all Parrallax, so that could work out in the movie's favor.

If they do Hal Jordan then I'd say James Marsden, and if they do John Stewart then I'd say Denzel Washington

or why Hollywood hasn't used him for anything. Fillion would make a great Jordan. I love the way he balances comedy and drama so well.

Sorry to be so venomous but **** Common! He can not act.

except he's not the green lantern for the green lantern movie

I think that Josh Duhamel, David Boreanaz and James Marsden could all pull off Hal really well . Although, Nathan Fillion will always be no. 1, of course. :woot:

How about this hunk as Hal:

One question. Why does ONE Green Lantern, or the first one need to have Hal, Kyle, and John?

I wholeheartedly endore Josh Duhamel for Hal if not for the ability to perform the character well, then at least as eye candy.

The only one I could picture even remotely pulling off Guy Gardner's attitude (and bowl cut) is Sean William Scott.

Oh! And thank you to the person who suggested Milo for Kyle Rayner. Well done!

I want Kyle for the solo GL movie-but i guess id be ok with a cross between Hal and kyle ala Superman animated series

id prefer batman, but ya i agree, im glad he's the voice of hal in the new frontier

More casting from me to piss people off: Ryan Gosling for Hal. :o

Awesome actor, but he's a little bit too young. I think you need someone in their 30's to portray Hal. He's just always seemed older to me.
