Being a HUGE GL fan I guess im hard to please,but i wasnt thrilled at the rumor of Common playing John-but after alot of thought and another watch of Smokin Aces I think he could be great.

Anyway i knocked this up and i think he looks pretty cool

I never really understood the opposition against having big stars playing comic book characters.... until now.
Nothing against Will Smith, he's a fine actor, but the second he plays John Stewart and its his movie. Thanks... I'll pass.

I believe I was the first person to say Milo V for Kyle... check back... i think it's true...

as for Hal, I don't know... i think Scott Porter could play a young Hal, but that would leave no room for Milo as Kyle...

Common, as he appeared in Smokin Aces, would be cool as John, but sometimes, he seems too old...

You mean Josh Duhamel? He could be, but there's a lot of superhero roles that people think that he can good for, such as Bat, Supes, The Flash, GL, etc. I don't know, though. I can only see Jim Caviezel as Hal Jordan because he could bring so much to the character, but that's just in my opinion.

well thats the big question for Green Lantern fans and it all comes down to personal faves...

Personally I would love to see Kyle as the main star cuz I find him the most interesting and relatable of all the GL's-also the way he uses the ring is alot more exciting visually.

Like I said though its all personal taste,Im sure there are some people out there who would even love Kilowog to be the main star!...

They said that Hal Jordan will be the main character in Greg Berlanti's upcoming live action Green Lantern movie and I would love to see Hal Jordan on the big screen by the time it comes out in 2010. I can really see it right now.

That would be funny to see Jack Black as G'nort. But, I think that when it comes down to it, I think the Green Lantern that would be brought to the big screen would have to have the best story and character of the bunch. And if that doesn't work, then the director of this possible flick should hold a poll on a blog of his and get the fans opinion on which version of the Green Lantern should be brought to the big screen. I think that would be pretty pleasing for fans of the comic-book character to actually get to decide which version of their favourite superhero will be brought to the big screen.

Hal Jordan would be a good choice but it doesn't really matter to me that much, the only thing I really care about is the actor who portrays the character.

And same here. I would also care about is the actors and actresses portraying the characters and hopefully, they'll get the cast and the story right for the movie. The only person I can see as Hal Jordan the most is Jim Caviezel and he definitely has the look.
