Jim Caviezel's a good actor, but looks more like Superman/Batman than Hal Jordan. Plus Jim's gonna be 40 this year and most studios & filmmakers seem hellbent against casting anyone around that age for a superhero. I half suspect WB will hire some inexperienced 20 something pretty boy 'cause it's cheaper and they'll think audiences will find it 'sexier' or 'more hip'. Then you have people who seem to not want to cast Jim because of his playing Jesus... so odds are that WB will not go anywhere near Jim or even consider him for the part. You mean Josh Duhamel? He could be, but there's a lot of superhero roles that people think that he can good for, such as Bat, Supes, The Flash, GL, etc. I don't know, though. I can only see Jim Caviezel as Hal Jordan because he could bring so much to the character, but that's just in my opinion.
Hmm... that might work in lack of Fillion or one of the other preferred choices.Well you do have a point there and you're probably right. They're probably going to cast some unknown actor to be Hal Jordan, kinda like how how they cast Brandon Routh to be in Superman Returns. I think this guy could pull off as Hal Jordan much as Nathan Fillon and Jim Caviezel.

His name is Justin Bruening, 6' 3", 9/24/79, from 'All My Children and upcoming Knight Rider TV film. :gl:
Can someone please explain how WB expects to say this is a SPIN-OFF in Justice League and using JL as a way to help this movie and other spin-off DC comic book films, when in JL they said they are using John Stewart, but in GL they are using Hal Jordan. I like Hal Jordan and everything, but how does that make sense? Won't that tick people off if they end up liking Stewart in JL? Won't non-fans who like the movie say its racist?

Again, not good looking enough, but at least moreso than Fillion...
The same way they spun off xXx2 from xXx1... different characters with a storyline explanation as to why. Speaking of Vin the same can be said of the Fast and Furious movies. No one cried 'racist' then, and even those who liked Vin in the original gave the second one a chance, would have enjoyed them had they not sucked.
You're imagining a problem where none exists, which is likely the reason why few bothered to answer your question.
Well, they probably might say it's racist that they're 2 GLs that have different skin color, but who knows? They probably might use John Stewart for a GL sequel. Maybe it probably might not tick people off if they would end up liking 2 GLs from different movies.
Well who is good looking enough for Hal then?Nate Fillion ain't good looking thus aint a good leading man for Green Lantern... end of discussion...
