Did any one see the article on latino review about the guy there read the script and had some news about casting david B is likley not going to get the role since they are looking to be late 20s for hal and all that. As for TIH sequel/avengers nothing is confirmed one way or another right now and with nothing known norton as he said doesnt know what is going on. I hope he will do another hulk and will be in avengers i enjoyed the film alot more then the 2003 hulk film.

I'm personally glad Boreanaz is out of the running for Hal. I mean, I like the guy and all but he's just not the right "fit" for GL.

And I am all for Gugino scoring the Carol Ferris role. She looks perfect for the role, as does Brooke Shields (who did the voice of Carol in the JL DTV movie).

It seems like, as I earlier speculated, Warner Bros are more interested in netting a bankable star for the role of Hal Jordan. They also seem to be skewing younger, which may be a wise move if they're thinking franchise.

I dunno. It's one thing saying the guy who drew the concept art had David Boreanez in mind for Hal. But if the rumors from Latino Review are true, then Warner Bros executives and writer/directors trump concept artist. Which means David Boreanez and Nathan Fillion are out, and younger, bigger names are in.

I doubt the movie's been cast yet. So it's still all speculation.

Despite my dislike for Mayimbe, there is merit to the idea that concept art using someone as a model doesn't automatically mean the model is being pursued to play that role.

Yep, exactly. My blog on the Gugino/Boreanaz inspirations for the concept art was linked all over the net and gradually turned into reports that the two were cast in the role. They were obviously the basis for the art and someone somewhere had them in mind at some point.

Is Boreanaz really too old at the age of 39 ?

Most big names are in their 30s or 40s.

There are quite a few talented, established actors in their late 20s out there. Off the top of my head, I can think of Ryan Gosling (though I think he'd be a better fit for The Flash) and Jake Gyllenhaal. Sure there are plenty more, if you give me a little time to think of them.
