John Goodman as Kilowog sounds nice. I wouldn't be opposed to that iftrue.

Well it certainly sounded more legit than the Seth Green, Justin Long, and David Boreanaz "scoop". ;)
 
Sorry guys, the John Goodman/Kilowog story is BS. The thread starter over on the forums I got this from responded to requests to provide a link with the death-knell for source credibility: "I found the news on the iMDB forums". Here is the offending thread where this "scoop" originated:

On further research, apparently turned out this is a troll with a history of creating bogus Associated Press articles for various upcoming movies. The thread-starter over there apologised for his naivete in forwarding the story without a properly-linked source, and I must do the same. Sorry for wasting your time, folks.
 
Ha ha yes I've had to cancel many important meetings to focus on this Goodman rumor.

I wonder if Gosling's on-and-off girlfriend, Rachel McAdams, is in the running to play Carol Ferris. That wouldn't be a bad casting move either, but I'd still go for Zooey Deschanel.

She's in the running for everything (just like Jude Law) so that wouldn't surprise me :hehe:
 
Well that sucks it looks like the goodman thing is Bs, i wouldnt have mind him as the character. Though i do hope the writers/director/producers are thinking of doing most alien gls as makeup/posthesis effects instead of making them 100% cgi creatures.

I dont know, i'm really liking the idea of John Goodman, at least as the voice. Even though the rumor turned out to be false, I hope Berlanti reads it and gets the idea.
 
I know what ya mean. I liked the idea too, but there's nothing we can do. I wonder what John Goodman would think about the rumor? Wonder if he would do it if offered?
 
sam riley is a good age for hal, looks pretty similar, and is a good actor, but I don't know if he can drop the accent or not.
