Well, I have no problem with Rachel McAdams as Carol. Y'know Gosling and McAdams are great together...

But in the first draft are also another characters so my choices are...

Michael Pitt (The Village, Last Days) as Hector Hammond - I know that he's only 27 yrs old but I think it can work if Hector will be as old as Hal. And Pitt is a great actor...

Adrien Brody (The Pianist, King Kong) as Sinestro - Well, this choice is not something unique or what but Brody is one of the greatest actors of his generation so where's a problem?

Yeah Michael Pitts great. But still i cant get the image of his penis in "The Dreamers" out of my mind when I think of him haha. But yeah Brody would be good, but I want an older Sinestro.

Yeah well I never said it was creative or anything OR my dream cast. I'm just saying what I think may happen.

^^^No...not just no...but **** NO!!!! someone ban this person please, for their own protection

Totally not Hal. Wouldn't mind Gosling if it happened.

If anybody, Milo is Rayner.

Pitt looks like a teenager, even with facial fuzz. Have you seen The Dreamers? Eva Green and Louis Garrel look a LOT older than him -- they should've gone with a different actor that could've held his own against the latter two, in terms of looking his age.

Maybe it's too late to even mention him, but what about Cole Hauser as Hal Jordan?

I'm probably the only person who thinks this, but ever since that fake John Goodman as Kilowog article mentioned it, I've been thinking that James Franco would make an interesting out-of-left-field choice for Hal Jordan.

Hal Jordan does have a certain stature about him though....Gosling would make a good Kyle Rayner maybe

Ryan Gosling was for a long time my top choice for The Flash (whether it be Barry or Wally). But I would definitely be happy with him as Hal Jordan too.

Franco would actually make a really good Hal but after 3 movies as Harry Osborne, that's just the comic book character people see him as. Doesn't work like Stamos as Joan The Mouse/Mystique.

Maybe. Though I've never really had a problem with an actor playing two comic book characters, especially when they are from different publishers.

Here's a suggestion worth considering, how about Ann Hathaway for Carol Ferris?

I take issue when there's not that much of a visual difference. I mean prosthetics, change the hair color, SOMETHING to make the character look different from the last one. Plus Franco just has this distinctive style. It wouldn't be a complete change like Ledger as Joker where he had to be so over the top that he disappeared into the character. Franco as Hal would just be too subtle of a change in comparison to Harry Osbourne.

Now Hugh Jackman going from Wolverine to Superman would be a big enough change for me not to care. That's just how different he'd have to play Superman.

Now I like that casting.

Thanks. She fits the profile of the kind of actor that WB seems to wants after the Gosling rumors. And by that same token, I could see her matching up well with Gosling if that happens.

I see what you're saying regarding the physical aspect of it. But I think the personality aspect would be distinguishing enough just because Hal Jordan and Harry Osborn are polar opposites as far as personality is concerned.

I'd Take Franco for GL. He's a really underestimated actor.

I still hope they reconsider Marsden. I think he'd make a great Hal.

Thing is I've seen Franco as the confident ladies man already (Harry) and I feel like it will just be more of the same. Yes, Hal and Harry are completely different characters but at the same time they're just too...human--They're normal people. :oldrazz: There just wouldn't be enough of a difference for me to differentiate Spidey 1's Harry and Hal.
