The ones in the book have personality and are actually characters, but still crave that human blood.

I'm hoping that the mutants in this new movie aren't just monsters that open their mouths real wide and scream, a la the dorky Mummy movies starring Brendan Fraser. The CGI wide-mouth screaming thing has been a Hollywood cliche' for quite a while now.

saw a newer tv spot, and the monsters look much more detailed than it did in the trailer

I saw a new one as well and I was able to see a much better shot of the monsters, they look pretty good IMO, nice avatar, I love Dexter :woot:

^It's everywhere, especially since the film is about to come out.

I asked this a few months back. I realize that The Last Man on Earth was not 100% faithful to the book, and wasn't even that good of a movie, but how similar was it to the book? Go ahead and list those spoilers.

It's the vampires that kill him in the movie

There is a review up on AICN now, the review sounds pretty lukewarm to the movie but seems to take some unessecary shots at Will Smith during it, so maybe there is a biased against him in this review

ether way I don't think this movie looks to incredible but I do think it will be good, if its better than I-Robot I think I will be happy

agreed, i just hope they don't spend a lot of time on just Smith in the movie(even though he's the main character ).

you really should read the book.

it'll change your life.:o

It's Neville's story though. And it's about his loneliness and isolation.

It is about Neville's isolation, loneliness, and struggle to stay alive, but I would like to see a little bit from the Vamps point of view, if they could make it work in the context of the film.

Now doing it from the dogs point of view would be truly amazing :cwink: :oldrazz: :woot:

One thing I was wondering...Do they keep the ending from the book in this movie? Because I heard they were already in talks for a sequel...and I wasn't quite sure how they'd go about that.

My sis just got the book, but it has Will Smith on the cover, is that different(storyline) from the one with the green cover?
