Me to, the more I read about it, the more I think its not going to be like the film, which I am really sad about, the book was so cool and different and I loved the last chapters a lot.

Its weird, will smith said his first introduction to the story was through the script. So why wouldnt he do the responsible thing and read the book? Its just so bizarre to me that will is a great actor but he doesnt do the research when it comes to something like this. Bizarre.

i read the first 5 chapters so far, seriously this book is truly amazing

i see nothing wrong with that. he's just so... likable. i know he acts the same in just about every movie he does, but so do denzel washington, russell crowe, and christian bale, and it doesn't stop them from being good.

Christian Bale, Denzel, and Mr. Crowe, are all very versitile actors compared to Will Smith. Bale and Crowe in particular almost always play very different people, Bale especially. Denzel does have some repetition to his acting, but he occationally shines in something different, Training Day for example. Big Willy is good too but not in the same caliber as those 3 actors. Smith's portrayal of Ali however was amazing.
