I agree as well, I don't get HBO in Canada, but I kind of got that just from watching a couple of scene's in a few different tv spots, still I can't wait to watch this on Friday, I have my tickets already t:

ok as far as the negative reviews, you got tons of sites saying this movie will suck? BUT WHAT DO THEY KNOW? seriously ha. Most of these site "reviewers" are people who couldnt make it as actors, and writers so they critique other peoples work cause theirs wasnt that good.

Yes, it's a very epic and sad ending for a character that had been through so much. It's a unique way of storytelling from Matheson as it painted the vampires in a different light and gave them something to fear. To an extent, we heard stories about monsters, boogeyman, and ghosts in general and those are our urban legends. I Am Legend had Robert Neville be the monster that haunted the vampires. Truly interesting concept that Matheson employed and one that I fear will not be duplicated in the film.

If you get a chance pick up the graphic novel edition of I Am Legend. It tells the same story with amazing artwork that details the trials that Robert Neville experiences as being the last man on Earth.

that's true about reviewers... though I think their problem isn't cause they weren't actors, but it's because they're nitpicky bastards who only want to go in and tear apart a movie. they never go in with the idea of enjoying it, that's just not humanly possible for them...
