I just read the book. I had a couple hours to kill so I thought I would read the story before watching it in theaters. I enjoyed the book very much. The ending was fitting, IMO. It's disappointing to hear that the movie isn't like the book, though. Still looking forward to watching it on the big screen regardless.

I just saw the movie and i got to say it was ALOT better than i thought it was going to be. I havent read the book and probably wont but i really enjoyed this movie and hope it makes lots of money. 10/10

Oh and wasnt there supposed to be a new batman trailer in front of it because all i got was the old teaser?

Some people are giving a 10/10 but I think they don't know whats a 10 means!It means perfection! What exactly was good about this movie? Ok Will played very well I ll give u that but thats it! There was some suspense but it was meaningless! The guy cried for his dog for half an hour + 3hours looking at shrek movie. the monsters was all cg when they could have done it with real person. I Though I was watching a XBOX 360 video game. The only thing missing was my game pad!The ending was like ' So what? '. I mean if you saw Resident evil why do you need to see this? I give it 4/10

I just saw the movie . What do I think about it? Well First they showed the preview of batman tdk. I really liked the performance of ledger so far I really liked the trailler .I just can't wait for tdk for summer 2008. I was tHinking about it for exactly 1h40 minutes. Does that tell you hoW I liked i am legend?

Not sure if this is said yet BUT during the first couple minutes when hes hunting theres a billboard for a movie....a batman/superman movie. Since WB did this AND owns the rights to both named franchises I think they were giving a subtle tip off.

10 to me doesn't mean perfection. It just means it was great. There is no such thing as a perfect movie, so making a perfect rating on a scale I find to be useless, but that is just me.

All right maybe a 10 doesn't mean the same for everyone! That s why I never trust the reviews done by the audience! It just doesn't make sense...I saw a 10 for the movie Norbit can you imagine?

Why couldn't they just make it like the book?

I don't get it. The first half was good, then they changed EVERYTHING.

If you're talking about movie adaptation, then believe me making it 100% faithful to the book would be even worse, because there wouldn't be any fresh ideas.

Just look at The Prestige, excellent film and very unfaithful adaptation (maximum 30% of what was in the book)

i noticed that too and pointed it out to my brother. i could hear people around me talking about it.

i thought the movie was okay. it definitely wasn't terrible. i say 7/10. maybe 8/10 the most.

But unlike I, Robot the movie isn't for the faint of heart and mind ether, no rube action fan, I feel could fully appreciate this movie as it is not nearly a action flick. It's kind of cast away with action kind of, and a well paced back story to keep the lengths of just Will Smith at bay. I didn't think it was a great movie but to compare it to I, Robot is taking a shot at this movie that isn't deserved, it was a sold flick, nothing too special but certainly better than most sci-fi action movies

OK, I saw it last night and I agree. It was better than I thought it was going to be and definitely better than I, Robot".

The "darkseekers" could have been presented a lot better, and the ending was kinda Hollywood, but I was impressed that there were indeed quiet moments of desolation in the film that didn't have action movie background music shoved in. Not bad overall, and deserving of a higher rating on Rottentomatoes.
