You know i was actually saying this to a friend of mine the other day when i saw a pic Smith in a magazine. He's starting to get some grey hair, looks a little odd with his younger face.t:

It is funny. Although he doesn't look as young as he did back in the days of the Fresh Prince, he still looks fairly young, especially for 38. But the grey hair is definitely a bit strange to see.

First Look At Will Smith In I Am Legend!

Principal filming has started for “I Am Legend,”. Although there have already been pics from the set posted, we haven't seen Will up to this point. All we've seen so far has been second unit stuff involving the white-striped red Cobra Mustang. Now Splash News has got your first look at Will Smith on the set of “I Am Legend.” Check them out below.

The film is Set in post-apocalyptic New York, "Legend" is about the last healthy man following the release of a virus that decimates the population. To survive, he must battle mutants that wreak havoc during the night.
I Am Legend is set to be released Nov 21st 2007.

I just hope he actually has stakes in that bag. I'd really like the "mutants" to atleast be some what like vampires.

I've only read the comic book adaptation of the novel, but from what I've seen, it looks pretty interesting.

I wouldn't worry much about the vampires being "diesesed"--something tells me that this will be to vampires what 28 Days Later was for zombies: they don't call them that, and they give them a compeltely different origin, but everyone knows they're f**kin' zombies and say that they are zombies.

Man if they show that dog being killed by Vampires i'm personally coming after Francis.

I can't stand Dog/Cat/Horse animal violence. Those animals are my fav.

Anyway back to the topic. I guess the pics look okay. Definately looks like Will is still into dark will mode ( a la I,ROBOT). Just cut back on the typical Will jokes and have some fun with the dog and i think this movie will be okay , acting wise.

I like will smith as a fun actor, for fun films such as men in black, but let's face it, he's not the best actor, so why would they insist on getting him for what essentially should be a serious role, or has this film really been reduced to a mere action adventure/comedy will smith vehicle?
