How so? There wasn't a Cockrum-created character in there and Cockrum is most known for the second genesis X-Men and his work on the Legion of Superheroes.Die by the sword was sort of an homage to Cockrum... weird, crazy homage, but homage nonetheless
Wow. That's just... wow.You saw those weird guys that appeared to Betsy in 95, or 96? Well in the last page he revealed those two were Dave and Patty Cockrum. Really weird.
based on his history, I really doubt thatIt isn't Claremont's fault. It's apparently editorial mandate that he only use characters he created.
SourceClaremont said:"The primary editorial dictum for the series is that the primary cast be restricted (with one exception, Morph) to variations on those characters I've created. Which isn't really that great a restriction since it turns out I'm responsible for quite a few over the past few years."
presumed death. Her death was a bit amibious and I always thought she blinked herself somewhere adn got lost. I expected her to return in Gen X. Its not too much of a stretch for them to bring her back and it would make sense, considering how she went out616 Blink is dead. Deal with it dude![]()
oh okay, I havent read that
Talk about dumb.
No Blink, TJ, Thunderbird, or anyone who made the book worthwhile and enjoyable...except for Morph. Claremont got tired of writing about other people's creations so he finally just booted out all the non-claremont created/wetdreamed characters and replaced them with Psylocke, Shadowcat, Rogue, and Sage....along with Mystiq(who dies/dissapears in the first issue supposedly) Sabretooth and Exile holdover, Morph...but Morph alone will not save this book from the cancellation it will soon have.
