Beginning a new era for the Exiles—with a new team, and a new mandate, to safeguard the fate and future of the Omniverse. New leader, new members, new worlds, new adversaries. They’ve barely begun to get to know one another when they’re thrust into their first mission—summoned to a world where the dawn of the historic Marvel Age turns out instead to be a prelude to global catastrophe. Meanwhile, back at the Crystal Palace, Sage struggles with a psychic curse that may well make her the new team’s greatest liability.

Just read Days of Then and Now. Really liked it. That's what Exiles was about.

Is it me or CC obssessed with the FF lately? Every story he's written in Exiles has to do with them....

Another Fantastic Four alternate story?? I'm so sick of Claremont!

BTW, Days of Then and Now was really amazing, that's what an Exiles story should be.

I liked Days of Then and Now, but I didn't like the team, they could've chosen better from the past Exiles stories. I for one would love to see the Skrull-controlled world once more, specially with all the hype the Skrulls are getting. OR the Vampire Avengers world, see who else was a vampire there...

I didn't think the team was that bad. Especially liked Luke Cage as Iron Fist.

Yeah, it wasn't the best team, but I didn't think it was that bad. What I liked about it was how Blink closed the cycle impersonating the Timebroker. And Quentin Quire not being the stupid boy he was in 616 was a plus.

WellI don't like QQ in ANY reality, I don't like Luke Cage either and I think that Iron Woman was just meh. That Batman wannabe wasn't a good thing either. I would've picked Spider-Woman, Mary Jane instead of Luke from that reality. Maybe Armageddon from Nocturne's reality...

I'll say I didn't care much for Nighthawk and Iron Woman, but I really liked QQ in this one.

I was reading up on some characters I havent heard from. I stumbled upon Timothy Fitzgerald from the 2099 universe. I used to love this character. It mentioned that he dissapeared from his reality since he appeared in one crossover but not the next without explanation even from his girlfriend. I think it would be cool to see him join the Exiles.

Guess everyone is too busy throwing up to comment the last issue :p

Btw I just noticed, while CC was in FF he almost turned into into the "XF4" with all the X-Men things he brought to their title, and now in Exiles he's throwing the FF into every issue... do you guys think he's trying to balance the scales of "things-that-shouldn't-haven-been-mixed-too-much"????

I think he uses the FF so much because if you travel different realities where there are a bunch of differences. The FF are like the only team that have a shared origin story in how they get their powers. Everyone else got their powers than came together (X-Men to a lesser degree)

And??? IT's supposed to be an X-Book, we should see alternate X-Men realities, or a more variety of Marvel heroes alternates, if we keep seeing only FF alternates it getrs boring, especially because people X-pect X-Alternates ...

It's not an X-Book, or at least, it shouldn't be. It started out that way, but it quickly went into the wider Marvel Universe, which is when the title is at its most interesting.

Right and that's why all the characters are X-Men related :p I do love it when they go into the X-panded Marvel U, don't get me wrong here, but if it's going to focus on just one portion of it it should be the X-World rather than the FF-World...

All of the characters are X-Men related because Claremont has an editorial mandate on his ass saying he can only use variations of characters he created on his team. The only exception is Morph.

I'm actually curious to see his "Gambit" variation...

Though I'm sure it'll be bad. I mean, up front it definitely looks like it's going to be an Atlantean with probably just a hint of Claremont's Gambit.
