Claremont showed some promise with his first issues, but he slapped us all in the face and screwed that one up pretty quickly.

I may not be buying New Exiles...but can't Claremont leave the idea of certain specific superhero having a new look? I'm tired of seeing a 'Aqua-Gambit', or a different Reed Richards every couple of issues.
If I had control over this book, I'd delve into What Ifs, past issues from years ago...touching upon stuff which isn't superhero related, including unknowns, yet giving them an incredible story.

i havent read the issue yet, but i find the spoiler kind of screwed up considering that Exile Gambit was married to [BLACKOUT]Storm [/BLACKOUT]at somepoint
an "aqua" gambit? that sounds interesting...i guess

Yeah, a lot of comic shops probably ordered a vast amount of New Exiles, but it certainly isn't flying off my LCS's shelves, that's for sure.

I'm sorry, but the AoA Sabretooth depicted in Exiles isnt even anything like the AoA Sabretooth! The 616 Logan, who's the most in control of his beastial nature of the 616's seems like a sociopath next to this Creed. Whether a good guy or a bad guy, Sabretooth (AoA) and Wolverine (616) are supposed to be examples of what it takes to be noble despite the beast within. But this Sabes is just a normal bloke who happens to call people kid and have claws and a healing factor. He was once a horseman of Apocalypse for cryin' out loud! He was fighting those demons and trying to be a metter hero in the AoA books, and even in the early Exile appearances. But now its like he's totally at peace and has no past.
