Run an inn and befriend faeries.

XSEED Games has confirmed it will release Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven for 3DS in North America this spring.
Here’s the outline, via XSEED:
Sometimes one’s path is chosen by fate. Luchs is one such soul, whose peaceful innkeeping days were numbered once he discovered a bracelet known as “Lachryma.” Suddenly accosted by strange fiends, he’s saved by a mysterious faerie encased in crystal whose memories are spotty at best. Luchs decides to help her recover these memories and, in doing so, encounters numerous other faeries just like her, each wielding unique powers and remembering a little more about their storied pasts as the entourage grows.
Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven boasts a unique strategic battle system which encourages players to aim their attacks just right in order to “bowl” over as many enemies as possible with a single strike. Players can also turn the tide of battle by crafting new skills with unique items obtainable through StreetPass registration and participation in Free Battles. With adjustable difficulty levels during gameplay and a fast-forward feature to help speed through cutscenes for battle-hungry players, the customizable experience on offer here promises to leave lasting memories, complemented by in-game movie and art galleries that allow players to review key dramatic moments at will.
This title will launch in the spring, and has been rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.

Story of Seasons release date announced

Create your character and live out the farm life.

SoS-Dated_02-12-15.jpg
Story of Seasons will launch for 3DS in North America on March 31 for $39.99, XSEED Games announced.
If you pre-order the game at participating retailers, you’ll get a special Angora rabbit “pocket plushie” as a bonus.
Here’s the game’s full outline, via XSEED:
Story of Seasons is the beginning of a new chapter in the “Bokujo Monogatari” series, a long-standing and top-selling farming/life simulation franchise. Though the series is reborn with a new name, it continues the well-loved traditions of customizable farms, animal care and relationship-building toward the goal of getting married and starting a family.
After creating a customized character, players can live out a new life by cultivating their favorite fruits and vegetables while expanding and filling their farm with their choice of animals. Fans of past games in the series will love the many new additions on display here, including an enhanced variety of seeds, pets, and other ways to make their farms truly their own. But the major addition is the new theme of “connectivity,” as trading with other countries will help grow the player’s crop variety and wallet, as well as the prosperity of the entire town. Players can also connect locally via WiFi to visit one another’s farms and tend crops as a team, expanding both their harvests and their friendships.
This game will launch on March 31, 2015 in North America, and has been rated “E10+” for Everyone ages 10 and up by the ESRB.

Apparently a lot of people got their Majora's Mask Limited Edition New 3DS' canceled by Best Buy.

When Nintendo says limited edition, it means limited edition.

Only one hour remains before I get my hands on the New 3DS. Oh hellz yeah.

Wow. The New 3DS was definitely worth the upgrade. Finally being able to use the 3D unimpeded is like being able to play all these amazing games for the first time all over again. So far I've only looked at Smash Bros and Animal Crossing in the new face tracking 3D, and hot damn do they look good. The little C-Stick nub is curious. You don't feel like you're moving it, or having any impact on it at all, but it's definitely doing its job. I'm overjoyed with my purchase.

How much of a wobble does the New 3DS have?

That kind of annoyed me with my original.

Seems like the New 3DS has less wobble than the other models. It feels a tad more solid. The whole system in general feels more solid. I was telling my girflriend that I much prefer the black New 3DSXL to my old Red 3DSXL. Looks less like a plastic toy.

My Mario and Luigi XL has an aluminum body on it. Similar to Macbooks.

Are the N3DSs plastic?

Pretty sure my original red 3DSXL was. Even if it wasn't, it sure looked the part. I never liked the design and colors of the red and blue 3DSXL's though.

Do you think I could walk in to a Best Buy or something and find one? The guys at Gamestop made it seem like every version of this system is going to be impossible to find forever.

Dunno. I know Gamestop sold out of New 3DS's.

On an unrelated note I just got off the phone with Nintendo support and it's gonna take 1-2 business days to get my NNID on my New 3DS. Thought all they had to do was just a quicky transfer on their end. Nope. As much as I love Nintendo I sure hate their account system.

Just call your local Best Buys, Targets, and Wal Marts.

Unless you want the Majora's Mask edition, in which case you'll have to kill someone.

Well, I just picked mine up. I think they rang it up wrong? It came up to $195 after taxes, and then I applied $10 worth of BB points that I had.

Yeah, $185 and some change. And my old 3DS sold, and I got $93. After I transfer my old XL, I'll sell that, and I'll get at least another $93-$100 for that.

Finally got through that third stage of Codename: S.T.E.A.M, and there was another level there with two extra party members, and then let me replay the previous three missions with the extra two party members you got. Probably the most extensive amount of content I've seen in a demo in recent years. Had a lot of fun with what I played, too.

Alright, I just transferred, and everything was successful. I was a little worried, cause there were a few extra steps from last time I've transferred, but it worked properly. Transferring data from the PC was extremely fast. I recommend if you guys have the option.

I'll be putting up my old XL to sell later tonight. Hopefully it sells just as fast as my old 3DS.

You can do a wireless transfer. But I am still concerned if the games I bought prior to creating my Nintendo ID will transfer. Come the big day I might give Nintendo a call.

I think if they're on your SD card, you'll be fine. If you use a computer, just make sure you copy the files to your computer and keep them there, at least until everything is transferred and you know its fine.

Sorry for being a bit too active in here today, but I just played 2 matches of Smash on the N3DS, and I gotta say, the 3D is EXTREMELY impressive. The new angles/camera tracking works flawlessly. I always had to turn it off when playing Smash, but I didn't have a single problem with it blurring or getting that double vision. The nub will take some getting used to, but it works. The speakers are noticeably louder, which is a good thing, and I love how the volume isn't on the side where you grip it, like the old XL.

Overall, it feels good. The only thing I don't like about it, is you have to manually go through the menus to turn off the internet. I wish there was a side button for that. Other than that, it seems better in every regard.

So you guys that did the system transfer...did all your progress in Mii Plaza (those damnable panels, the Mii Plaza games) stay the same? Are all you Mii guests still there?

Heh, I don't think I've ever used the Mii function on the 3DS. I have on the Wii U, though. I just checked, and the only Mii I've created is still there, so I would assume so.

Everything seems to be untouched. All my games and saves are there, even the NES/GB restore points.

The Mii Plaza stuff saves to your SD card as far as I know, so it should transfer just like everything else. It's essentially built-in game software.
