Well, I just got my copy of Monster Hunter 4. Unfortunately I kind of cheapened out on the Majora's Mask limited edition, so it won't be here for a while.

If you've never played a Persona game, would anyone recommend Persona Q?

I don't get monster hunter... Playing the demo and it's more or less a timed fight? The monster just keeps running away.

Yeah the monster runs away, then you gotta chase after it and hunt it down. Game was too tedious for me, but my girlfriend adores it.

I do hope the success of Majora's Mask will encourage Nintendo to do more ports.

When do you guys suspect we'll see the next handheld Mario game?

The Sunshine remake would probably work on the new 3DS

I think the face buttons are slightly bigger and spaced apart just a tad more. I like it.

Not that I've noticed. Seems completely fine to me.

I do hope the success of Majora's Mask will encourage Nintendo to do more ports.

The last thing Nintendo needs is encouragement to port something lol, they have always done ports.

Other than confusing me every time I got to put a game in or take a game out, no. I was initially concerned because my pinky finger rests right where the new game slot is, but I haven't had a single problem with it.

I've been confused with some of the new button placements. I like where the start and select buttons are now, but I'm still so used to them being below the bottom screen. I was playing MM3 last night, and I kept trying to hit start below the screen. I also couldn't figure out where the power button was. I thought you may have to hold down the home button at first.

Nintendo finished my NNID transfer today. Got all my old titles back. Things download really quick on the New 3DS. I'm really pleased with that. I downloaded 23 games (mostly VC titles) in about 15 minutes. Not bad at all.

Here's a question though.

I just set up a Nintendo Network ID on my 3DS, but I already bought software on it. If I do a transfer with that ID to a New 3DS, will I get the games I bought prior to getting the ID?

I hope so, but I want to make sure.

I agree. The way the 3D works now is absolutely amazing. The load times are pretty stellar as well.

The N3DS really does boot up within a few seconds. It's incredibly fast. I think the old one took about 60-90 seconds. This one boots up in about 4-5 seconds. It's insanely noticeable.

I'm hoping with the better processor we'll see some SNES VC titles coming to the 3DS. I'd kill to have the DKC trilogy on my 3DS. Then again, I'm still waiting to get the DKC trilogy on Wii U.

what's the deal with microSD cards? do i need one? everybody seems to be talking about them

The system comes with a 4gb card, so if you don't DL a lot of games, you should be fine. But if you want to be safe, you can get a 32gb card for about $15-$20. I picked one up, and now I'm good.

Also, 32gb is the limit, unless you know how to reformat a 64gb to work, which isn't hard to do, but you should be fine with a 32gb card.
