Going Over What Makes Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei A Langrisser Game. April 25, 2016 . 1:30pm

Even though Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei might not be exactly the game you’d expect, it does its best to preserve some of the Langrisser series’ traditions.

26 comments Read >

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a Langrisser game appear outside of Japan. Only the original Langrisser was localized back in 1991 as Warsong. Seeing Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei get picked up by Aksys is quite a surprise. People might wonder what makes this strategic RPG so different from the others on the market and what the Nintendo 3DS entry retains from previous series. In short, Langrisser is often about maintaining a sense of gravity and scope, while also ensuring equality on the field.

To start, Langrisser takes its name from the legendary sword the hero in each entry wields. It’s a weapon holding the powers of Lushiris, the goddess of light, and watched over by Jessica, a mage who continually appears in the games. Only the descendents of light have the power to wield it, and the more people believe in and follow the hero, the strong the sword and he will be. As Langrisser Re: Incarnation begins, Autokrato IV, the emperor, orders his minions to destroy the town Ares, the hero, is from and capture him. It’s because of this attack that Ares and his maid, Maiyahappen upon Langrisser.

Langrisser is known for massive battles with multiple units on a large field. Some of these are enemies, another group will be allies outside of your control, and then there’s finally your own army of controllable characters. In previous games, battles can take hours as you control upwards of 30 units on the field. Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei’s scale isn’t quite so grand, but plenty of characters are available on the field, with players able to hire more mercenaries to act as their own generals’ underlings between fights.

There’s a sense of equality in the Langrisser series. Even if units begin to level up, that doesn’t mean newcomers won’t be as useful as established members of your army. Each unit’s health is set at 10 and certain classes have an edge against others. Cavalry is stronger than infantry, infantry units work well against lancers, and lancers should be used against cavalry. People should also try to use archers against pilots and clerics against undead units. Once generals start advancing to higher classes, you will see definite differences in power, but the game is set up in such a way that people won’t be penalized for using a new units instead of one they’ve had since one of the first few chapters.

You’re also always given choices in Langrisser. The game begins with a personality test of sorts. It’s the first time you’ll meet Jessica in Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei. Here, she asks nine questions. Your responses determine the identity of Ares. In my game, he ended up being a mage. As this, and all Langrisser characters, levels up, players get to determine which classes they advance to, reaching the best, fifth class if the right decisions are made and enough effort is invested.

People also get to determine the course of their adventure. Langrisser games have multiple paths and endings to choose from, with there usually being light, neutral, and dark options. In Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei, people get this option during the storyline, determining what Ares’ motivation will be for the rest of the game. They also get to talk with allies between battles, with affection leading to the acquisition of new skills thanks to the partnership formed.

While Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei is quite different than the previous Langrisser games and an acquired taste, it does manage to preserve some of the series’ hallmarks. It won’t have the same legacy as other entries or fanbase, but the nods to the past are quite evident to anyone who takes the time to go ahead and look for them. Even if this isn’t the exact game people wanted or expected, the traditions have carried on.

Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.

GameXplain has put together a video showing off Kirby: Planet Robobot’s multiplayer. Taken at PAX East 2016, it shows what people can expect if they begin a Team Kirby Clash multiplayer match.

Up to four players can participate in a Team Kirby Clash multiplayer battle, which has a three minute time limit. In the GameXplain video, we see four teammates cooperatively attacking a Mr. Frosty. Each of the Kirby characters is at level 8 and has its own ability. The Doctor Healmore, Beam Mage, Sword Hero, and Hammerlord classes are all shown. You can assist other players, as the Doctor Healmore character heals the player with food around the 30 second mark, and the Sword Hero puts up a defensive barrier that would have protected all Kirby characters underneath it at the 45 second mark.

Kirby: Planet Robobot will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 28, 2016. It will arrive in other regions on June 10, 2016.

Nintendo Recaps 3DS Software And Hardware Sales Data For The Fiscal Year Ended March 2016. April 28, 2016 . 2:00am

Nintendo shared the latest on Nintendo 3DS software and hardware sales data from their latest financial results briefing. Including how key titles performed in different regions of the world.

27 comments Read >

Nintendo recently shared plenty of info in their financial results briefing for fiscal year ended March 2016. Here’s some data on their 3DS software and hardware sales.
The worldwide sell-through for Nintendo 3DS systems has surpassed 56 million, reaching an installed base that is sufficient to provide profits for the software business.

There is some variation by region, but we have seen an increase in the percentage of young consumers and female users in Japan, North America, Europe, and other regions.
As for our recent situation, we have been seeing positive signs in Nintendo 3DS software sales in all regions since the start of the calendar year.

This graph shows the Nintendo 3DS software sell-through in Japan from the start of the year through last week, compared with the same period over the last two years.

The sell-through since the start of the calendar year has been lower than in the past two years, but titles that have launched in March and April, such as Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 from Square Enix and Yo-kai Watch Sangokushi (Japanese title) from Level-5, have increased play activity for young consumers over the spring break and the start of the new school year, leading to a rise in sales.

This is the ranking of video game software sales over the fiscal year ended March 2016 in Japan. Nintendo platform titles hold the top nine spots, including two Wii U titles and seven Nintendo 3DS titles. This proves that the Nintendo 3DS platform continues to hold a prominent position in the Japanese video game market.

Also of note, the top 50 titles make up more than half the sales for the entire market. As I have mentioned in past financial briefings, this represents a continuing polarization of the market between titles that sell well and titles that do not.
This graph shows the Nintendo 3DS first-party software sell-through in the U.S., compared with the same period over the last two years.

Fire Emblem Fates was launched in America in February this year, building momentum for 3DS software sales.

The discount versions of four titles introduced under the Nintendo Selects banner in March have also provided a positive impact.
With respect to Fire Emblem Fates released in February, this graph shows a comparison between the total sell-through in the U.S. market and the total sell-through in the Japanese market, where the title launched earlier. The week of each launch is counted as Week 1.

Sales surpassed the 500,000 mark in the U.S. in Week 6 and have continued without losing momentum. Recently, sales caught up to Japan and are even maintaining a pace slightly higher than in the Japanese market.
This graph adds a comparison with the previous entry in the series, Fire Emblem Awakening. As you can see, there are major differences in the trends in the Japanese and American markets.

In Japan, most of the demand is filled within the first few weeks after launch, but the Fire Emblem series continues to perform well over a long period in the U.S.

In the past, the Fire Emblem series did not sell as well in the U.S. as it did in Japan. However, Fire Emblem Awakening greatly expanded the user base for the series, and the current entry, Fire Emblem Fates, has been popular abroad as well since launch.

This graph shows the Nintendo 3DS first-party software sell-through in Europe, compared with the same period over the last two years.

In Europe, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon was released in February, and Nintendo Selects was kicked off last October. These titles continue to perform well, but the sales trends for first-party software as a whole remain slightly under the trends for 2014. We plan to release Fire Emblem Fates in Europe in May.

Tomodachi Life has been a major title that recently surpassed two million sales in Japan. In the European market, this title was localized into various languages, and was launched in June 2014.

Since then, we have seen excellent long-term performance from this title, and it has gradually closed the gap over the last two years, recently surpassing the sales in Japan.

There are few titles competing in this space within the industry, and we believe that bringing out the full potential of this kind of title, which appeals to female consumers, will help our products be enjoyed by wider consumer demographics.

At the last financial briefing, we discussed the strong performance of the Nintendo Selects discount titles, which were launched in October in the European market. This sales performance has not seen much impact from seasonal variation, as these titles have continued to sell well since the start of the calendar year.

The red bar in the graph shows the total sell-through for the eight Nintendo Selects titles, while the gray bar represents the total sell-through for the same titles over the same period one year before.
The Nintendo Selects titles have achieved total sell-through of over 700,000 units. By changing the value prospects for the consumer, we have been able to reach a wider audience, even for titles that had seen a lull in sales.

We have also launched similar promotions in Japan and the U.S. In Japan, the title is “Happy Price Selection.” Compared to the sell-through for the same period in the prior year, sales have increased greatly and the ratio of female and young consumers has risen, expanding the audience for these titles.

Nintendo feels it is important to provide good value to our consumers without devaluing the overall price of our software. Therefore, we will not overuse these types of promotions, but we do feel these discounts can provide an excellent chance for consumers to find fresh discoveries among our rich back catalog. These promotions will be part of our efforts to maintain the popularity of the Nintendo 3DS platform in 2016 and beyond.

This slide shows the major Nintendo 3DS titles and the total units shipped worldwide. The amounts shipped over the fiscal year ended March 2016 are indicated in the red boxes.

Even titles that were released quite a while ago have seen sales of around one million units this year. The Nintendo 3DS has a rich selection of evergreen titles that are popular with consumers, and we believe that the lineup offers plenty to enjoy for consumers who have purchased the hardware recently as well.

Tactical Tips For Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei . April 28, 2016 . 1:30pm

Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei can be a pretty trying affair. We’re here to help with some tips to get you through this strategic RPG.

13 comments Read >

Playing Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei can be quite the challenge. There are some gameplay elements that should be immediately available, but aren’t, and despite the tutorials, you’re often left not really knowing how parts of the game work. I’m actually a few chapters away from beating the game and felt it important to go through some things that might make the experience better for others heading into it.

First, you should make “B is confirm” your mantra. Embrace it. You will back out of so many menus and undo so many options your first three to four hours of Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei as muscle memory takes over. There may even be some cursing. The sooner you get it into your head that you should always be hitting “B” instead of “A,” the happier you’ll be.

You also shouldn’t be afraid to redo Jessica’s initial quiz in Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei. You have to live with Ares’ class for the rest of the game, and you’ll want it to be a good one. I went with a mage, because I wanted the extra skills that would allow Ares to attack from a distance. Since he’s equipped with the Langrisser, he tends to have a better chance of Overwhelmingan opponent in a fight, and I wanted the spells to help weapon enemies for allies to defeat.

Because you want to set up fights so your weaker characters get in that last hit. Using skills or spells and dealing the finishing blow to an enemy unit are the actions that get a character experience. After chapter 10 or so, levels actually start mattering, so do your best to keep the characters you know you’ll use often, like Ares, Maiya, Elma, and Ansel, at about the same level.

You also want to keep characters together. I know, in many strategic RPGs, like Disgaea, keeping characters apart is important. Area of attack spells are a threat. In Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei, you want to keep troops clumped together. Like Fire Emblem, this game gives a small amount of bonus points to an allied unit when it’s near friendly faces. It also makes it easier to heal, as spells like Elma’s Quick Fix can heal four units at a time. The mercenaries you hire will be at their best and most effective when they’re right alongside their leader too. Sending them off ahead alone to attack distant foes is pretty much condemning them to death, even if they would have an advantage. Stick together.

Not that you have to worry too much about those foes. Enemies in Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei tend to be a bit dim. At least, they are at the Normal difficulty level. I saw enemy units take the longest way around to reach my army. They’d stomp right up to an ally and then, inexplicably, stop. Even though the opponent’s unit could attack, it wouldn’t. It’d stand there, staring at my characters. And this wasn’t just the behavior of a standard mook. Sometimes, one of my allies would be right next to a boss character and it would do nothing.

This can really cause the battles to drag on, so please, turn the battle animations off. You’re going to spend enough time on the field in Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei already, trying to determine which unit’s turn it is, can it go to this location, what the range of a certain spell or skill is, and so on. Since there’s no quick save feature to allow you to take a breather in the middle of battle, turn the animations off. You’re not missing anything important.

Speaking of saving, prepare to make very good use of the save/load function in the battle preparation screens. Between Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei’s scenarios, you’re able to talk to up to three allies to boost your relationship, hire mercenaries, and purchase equipment. If you go into the Guild or Shop, it’s impossible to see the stats of any of the units or weapons you’ll acquire. All it shows is who can hire those units or use those items. You don’t actually get to see unit stats unless you’re on the field. Only after spending points on weapons and armor are you taken to a screen that shows the difference it would make when applied to one of your units. Your points are already gone, so you could have bought something useless.
The general rule of thumb here is that more expensive is always better. (Except in the case of weapons for Ares, as the free Langrisser is always the best weapon for him.) But, if you have enough time to spare, I recommend saving, heading to the Shop, buying the most expensive items, and taking notes on a separate piece of paper as you do. Then, go back and load the save you made before shopping. Look at the stat difference and make informed purchasing decisions.

This same advice should be applied to the conversations you’ll have with allies. While you can pay the smarmy hedgehog 10 points for advice on which choice will be best, it’s wiser to save, play through the scenario with the sound up, then reload if necessary. A chime will let you know if you made the right decision, and you can know that your friendships will remain at the highest levels possible.

Though, to be honest, I wouldn’t always recommend hiring mercenaries. While I did splurge on these extra forces for the first three scenarios, I spent quite a few going without. Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei isn’t as difficult as many other games in the series. It often isn’t too difficult going it alone. Though, there were times where I did hire some backup for characters like Towa or Elma, because Towa would be heading out ahead as a scout and could use a few meat-shields and Elma would often be focused on healing, rather than fighting.

Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei is a game with many quirks. As long as you go in knowing you might have to make ample use of the save/lead feature, cluster characters together, and reevaluate everything you’ve learned about the “B” button in 10+ years of gaming, you should be able to power through most of its strategic situations. Just remember to have a power cord nearby and be ready to take multiple breaks, since fights can feel pretty drawn out.

Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.

Kirby: Planet Robobot Hands-On – Machines Make The Differencel . April 28, 2016 . 3:00pm

Robots add a new twist to the various copy powers of the Kirby universe in our PAX East hands-on with Kirby: PLanet Robobot.

6 comments Read >

[YT]Y2AjUI-HeU8[/YT]
Kirby’s familiar copy abilities return in Kirby: Planet Robobot, but in our PAX East hands-on, we saw the various ways in which they gain new uses and attacks when paired with Kirby’s new mecha form.

The first stage, set in green fields that show signs of the incoming technological enemies with added pipes, steel drums, and pieces of machinery, showed a familiar Kirby. His old foes, equipped with beam, spark, sword, and cutter, were all present. Swallowing them gave similar multi-use powers to those that were present in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, with the powers offering different abilities based on button and directional presses.

In the second stage, we were given access to a plain steel mecha, one that changed to a bring, vibrant pink when Kirby stepped on board. The mecha could do some powerful punch attacks straight ahead and downward, but became much more useful when it used its scanner to copy an enemy with an ability.

When a nearby enemy has a power, hitting the attack button will make the mecha scan it instead, copying the power. The suits use powers in different ways, with fire granting players a flamethrower, cutter letting them swing saw-blade arms, and bomb creating walking explosives that march across the floor. This first mecha created drastic changes in what copy abilities did, making familiar powers new and exciting again.

If no enemy with a copy power is in sight, though, the player can use Amiibos to give themselves an ability. The four Amiibo that are launching alongside the game – new variants on Kirby, King Dedede, and Meta Knight as well as the all-new Waddle Dee – give Kirby a copy ability by being tapped against the lower screen.

The PAX East demo also gave some a glimpse into into Team Kirby Clash. In it, players can use a healer Kirby, sword Kirby, hammer Kirby, and mage Kirby to tackle various bosses and fights. These Kirbys all gain experience as players complete matches, growing tougher over time and unlocking new fights with each victory. Players could also pick up an item during these matches, and once every player had picked up a copy of that item, it would activate a super attack to do heavy damage to the enemy.

Team Kirby Clash could be a frantic affair with four Kirbys and a large boss all inhabiting the same screen and activating their own special attacks (each activated with simple button presses). The experience system adds depth to the mode, though, creating a neat diversion for players looking for a multiplayer Kirby experience.

Kirby: Planet Robobot is set to release on June 10, 2016.

Project X Zone Isn’t Appearing In The Nintendo 3DS eShop. May 2, 2016 . 10:00am

Product listings for Project X Zone are no longer appearing in the North American or European eShops.

A game has been delisted from the Nintendo 3DS eShop in both North America and Europe. Bandai Namco’s Project X Zone, a strategic game featuring over 50 Bandai Namco, Capcom, and Sega characters is no longer available to purchase.

Project X Zone was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe in 2013. Both the full game and a demo were available. Now, searching for the game in either store will only pull up Project X Zone 2’s full game and demo. As someone with the digital version of the game, I can confirm that it does still remain in the downloadable software list.

Physical copies of Project X Zone are still available via certain retailers. Amazon has new and used copies, while Best Buy and GameStop have listings online for pre-owned copies of the game.

Project X Zone 2 is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.

Last week, Japan had a few major releases with Kirby: Planet Robobot for Nintendo 3DS, Jikkyo Powerful Pro Yakyu 2016 on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, and the PlayStation 3 version of Star Ocean 5. Media Create provides us with the latest data on software and hardware sales from the week of April 25 through May 1, 2016.

On top of the list is Kirby: Planet Robobot which sold 144,846 units in its first week. That’s not bad for a Kirby game, but it falls almost 70,000 copies short of the series’ previous main title in Kirby Triple Deluxe. Here are opening-week sales of previous major Kirby games to give you an idea:

 • (2010) Kirby’s Epic Yarn (Wii) – 92,280
 • (2011) Kirby: Mass Attack (DS) – 74,915
 • (2012) Kirby’s Return to Dreamland (Wii) – 136,811
 • (2014) Kirby Triple Deluxe – 214,208

The popular Japanese baseball game series returned with its first main title since 2008 with Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyu 2016, and it got the #2, #3, and #4 spots with their latest entry which sold 101,981 units on PS4, 84,973 units for PS Vita, and 56,477 for PS3. That adds up to a total of 242,431 across the three platforms for a pretty solid debut.

After about a month of delay, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness made its PlayStation 3 debut with 20,027 copies sold. These numbers are very low compared to the PlayStation 4 version’s opening week sales of 113,022 copies. The delay and rather high 7,980 yen price tag for a PS3 game probably didn’t do it any favors, either.

Nippon Ichi Software’s adventure puzzle game Rose and the Old Castle of Twilight was another new title, and it placed #13 with 8,508 units sold on its first week. The game was made by the same team that worked on htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary, which sold 9,744 in its debut.

And finally, YU-NO creator’s classic visual novel got a remake with Eve: Burst Error R, and the game sold 5,699 units in its opening week to place it at #17.

As far as hardware sales go, most of the Nintendo 3DS models saw a bump, most likely thanks to the release of Kirby: Planet Robobot, with the New Nintendo 3DS LL getting the biggest one with an increase of 6,340 units compared to the week before. The PlayStation 4 saw an increase by 7,989 which is probably because of Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyu 2016. And finally, the Wii U saw an increase by 4,052 units sold.

The top-20 chart for the week is as follows:

Ace Attorney: Spirits of Justice’s Post-Game DLC Chapter’s Theme Is Marriage And Time Travel. May 17, 2016 . 5:30am

Capcom held a special live stream for Ace Attorney: Spirits of Justice earlier this morning, where they showcased a video for their recently announced post-game DLC chapter.

[YT]nKa3ECOFgrk[/YT]

The video mostly features some of the characters talking about the special DLC chapter, “Turnabout That Goes Beyond Time,” which will feature Phoenix Wright, Larry Butz, Miles Edgeworth, and Maya Fey. You’ll need to clear the game in order to play this special chapter that will have its investigation and courtroom parts.

In the video, Edgeworth mentions that he got a letter saying that certain someone will “finally get married.” Phoenix says that his letter says that this someone has an “M” as an initial in their name, to which Edgeworth responds with “I-I wouldn’t know who that is” (because of Miles or his Japanese name, Mitsurugi).

Maya shares her hint saying that her letter reveals that the DLC chapter has a theme of marriage and time travel. Suddenly a familiar voice is heard. It’s Wendy Oldbag saying “our love story will finally be told, Micchan!”

It’s pretty funny seeing how her illustration is the same from the older game, which Maya points out. Wendy says that she heard that she’s getting married with Edgeworth, so she has arrived from the past world.

They have a little courtroom session where Oldbag claims that the only person that comes to mind with an “M” initial is Edgeworth, so she figured that it could only mean her marriage with the prosecutor. For this reason, she decided to time travel. Phoenix argues saying that even though this is a special chapter, time traveling is just too much. Oldbag counters by saying that it’s the power of love, and it goes beyond time.

At the 5:35 mark, we see another familiar face with Larry Butz (Masashi Yahari) who claims that he’s the one that will be getting married, and provided a video footage with the proof. However, the video shows someone else as the groom and Larry Butz being held back by security, so it doesn’t look like this wasn’t exactly the “proof” they were looking for.

Finally, Edgeworth points out that Oldbag’s illustration isn’t updated, meaning that she won’t be in the special chapter, and sending her back to her original world. You can hear her voice saying that she’ll give up on the special chapter, but she’s not going to give up on Edgeworth. Maya jokes saying that present day Wendy Oldbag is probably waiting for him just outside, and Phoenix ends it by saying “now that’s definitely love that goes beyond time.” The Judge says that we’ll just have to find out what happens for ourselves by playing the game and chapter.

Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice will release in Japan on June 9, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS, and in North America and Europe in September as an eShop title.

Nintendo has two new and official Kirby: Planet Robobot trailers for us today. The first is called “Kirby Kicks Bot” and highlights the Robobot Armor, a mech suit Kirby can ride in and control as he defends Planet Popstar against Haltmann Works Company and its Mechanizing Occupation Project. In particular, it takes some time to show off some Robobot Armor Copy Abilities, like Cutter, Fire, Spark, Stone, Sword, and Wheel Mode. Each Copy Ability’s mode alters the appearance of the Robobot Armor and its attacks.

The other Kirby: Planet Robobot trailer takes a closer look at each of the new Kirby amiibo. It shows what each amiibo will unlock when scanned into the game. The Kirby provides the UFO Copy Ability, Meta Knight gives the Sword Copy Ability and a Meta Knight costume, Waddle gives the Parasol Copy Ability and Waddle Dee costume, and King Dedede provides the Hammer Copy ability and makes Kirby turn blue and wear a replica of King Dedede’s hat.

Rumor: Nintendo developing new handheld code-named MH [Update 2]
Published 21 hours ago. 184 comments.

New handheld appears in financial report.

Nintendo-MH-Handheld-Rumor.jpg

In addition to its new console code-named NX, which is scheduled to launch worldwide in March, Nintendo is developing a new handheld console code-named MH, according to a report on investor news site Trader’s Web.

Further information was not shared. The “MH” handheld itself is mentioned in a Nintendo Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley financial report.
(This article has no relation to Monster Hunter. We’re just using a Monster Hunter image since the console is reportedly code-named “MH.”)

Thanks, Games Talk.
Update 7:08 a.m.: Dr. Serkan Toto, CEO of Tokyo-based game industry consultancy Kantan Games, offers the following on the report: “That Morgan Stanley Japan note on Nintendo does NOT mean a portable console or the name ‘MH’ is confirmed. They are picturing a scenario. Such ‘rich’ forward-looking analysis and also the wording is standard in investor notes. I know because I read *tons* of them.”

Update 1:30 p.m.: Dr. Serkan Toto has offered more clarification on the report: “Final tweet(s) about that Morgan Stanley Japan note on Nintendo: I just received and read it. As I said, they were picturing a scenario. Financial institutions do this kind of future-oriented analysis all the time. The note is much longer than what was released online. The analyst clearly says they are just projecting. They use ‘MH’ as a codename to make the report more readable. It’s arbitrary. In the note, they compare future/theoretical sales of the ‘MH’ with that of the 3DS, so I guess the short name makes sense.”

Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice details Revisualization

Published 1 min ago. 0 comments.
Review the case to determine the truth.

AA6_05-25-16.jpg

Capcom has released new Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice details and screenshots introducing the game’s “Revisualization” feature.

When the courtroom battle reaches its final stage and it seems you need another step to fully grasp hold of the truth, a “Revisualization” is triggered to reach a decisive conclusion. This system, which first appeared in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, lets you review the facts revealed in the court up until that point. You’ll seek out a route that leads to the truth while organizing events, and select the correct route using logical reasoning. If you make an error, you can review again any number of times to reach the truth.

Contra: Alien Wars is on the 3DS. I may have to get it. It's one of my favorites.

Does anyone know when retailers might have a possible sale on the Nintendo 3DS XL? I'm looking to purchase one.

You can always check out Nintendo's site for a refurbished one. Everything I've heard is that Nintendo's refurbs are quality.

I have a regular XL I can sell you. It's in mint condition, no scratches or anything. PM if you're interested.
