Yes. mee too. And I think that, after that day, Moriarty, even if involuntary, is a POTC2 boy.

Well the way he put things I think he made up his mind before the horse was out of the gate. But that's not unusual on ACIN. Harry was predestined to love it.

Does the movie still show young clark kent discovering he can fly? Right after he crashes through the farm and stops himself from hitting the ground?

say what you want, but my comments on the conspriacy theory is not based on my hate for the flick

Excuse excuse. The conspiracy you claim is just your hate for the flick. Way to lie, kid. You obviously don't have any links to back up what you call consipracy. Until you have something to back up your claim, you just looking for lies & excuses to hate the fact. And the fact is you're a SV fan, not Superman. Seeing as you're upset your toyboy from SV is not in this & it not SV the movie. :p

but for the fact that i have heard rumbles of such a conspriacy, also beleive it is true and possbile with a movie usch as this, with such a huge billing, not just to cost of production, marketing, merchandizing and others.

What you heard rumbles of conspiracy don't mean it's true. It just silly rumor or fanboys upset at Singer not making SR their way. I wouldn't be surprise if some are stupid to enough to make excuses for what they don't like seeing. Darn fanboys! :p

And btw, funny how you don't like SR because it's a love story. You obivously flip flopping there. First you didn't like SR because it not from SV, then it because your boy not in it, next is you don't like Singer, & now you're saying it's the love story. Stop changing excuses. It kill your credibilty. And funny how you hate the love story, when SV seem to have that. I mean it's a soap opera, for God's sake!! And I doubt SR is a love story. Singer just mean "love story" compare to this other works. It has some romance more than any of his films, but it don't mean the movie is a big love story like a chick flick. And the fact adding a little bit of romance help add appeals to the female audience beside male.

for the guys whos seen it already, does hugh jackman really show up as jonathan kent in the flashbacks?

The great Glenn Ford is still Jonathan Kent, as he appears in a photo in a scene that I believe was in one of the trailers.
Now the question becomes : is this scene in the movie?

And Naite, importened is NOT a word, mmmmmmmmkay?

I hadn't noticed it while watching the movie, but thinking back... the quality of the image was really good. Nice crisp and clear colors. And I don't know why people are complaining about the movie being "dark" in terms of lighting.
Shots taken during the daytime were very bright and clear, scenes taking place during nighttime were naturally more dark but overall I think the cinematography was excellent.

i don't know if you mentioned this, but were you able to see it in IMAX3D or just a regular theatre?

natie i know what you feeling; when the swamp scenes were cut from kong i was sooooooooooooooooo pissedbut the movie is still awesome;and they didnt even put it on the dvd!

I'm new so, please forgive my question just once...please? Okay, I was wondering if Superman has trouble seeing through lead in this mmovie at anytime?

6.6, terrible :down

I hope tomorrow SR will finally get more than 80% :(

it only has 18 reviews counted towards the Tomatometer so far. Patience. It will get more. I predict it will be around Batman Begins' tomatometer of 83%.

as usual late to the discussion there buddy :) :down , I won't expect anything less from you.

I saw the movie yesturday on the IMAX. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sold on Brandon Routh. Don't get me wrong, he looks great as Superman/Clark kent, but it felt as if Singer realized this kid can't act and decided to cut out most of his dialouge.
I can't say enough about the perfect casting. Big props to Frank Langella who does an excellent job as Perry White. Kevin Spacey was excellent like i knew he would be, and also had nice rhythm with Parker Posey.
The airplane resuce is absolutely insane! I felt like i needed a smoke after watching it.. and i don't even smoke.
While it isn't quite as good as Batman Begins imo, Superman Returns is a very VERY fun movie and entertaining superhero movie. I can't wait for the sequel. Hopefully it will be a tad darker.

sorry, kid lives. He must have some type of strength to push the piano and he must have good vision to spot Superman underwater from a plane

Don't get hung up on the kid thing, you have to see this movie it looks great and you will believe Brandon is Superman. The kid thing was very emotional and handled very well.

Sounds fookin' terrible :o

how was the audience reaction?

Question to any of you short bus passengers who voted in the poll and have not seen the film...

are you completly oblivious to the fact we can see your names after you voted?
