All the problems in SR, according to this review, mirror the problems in Superman: The Movie. Anyone else notice that?

well considering SR is heavily influenced by S:TM, it's not surprising to me. that's okay though because i still love S:TM.

I noticed he didn't mention anything about the EQ sequence,that's supposed to be the other action scene of the movie and he didn't even said it was cool or something,that kinda worries me because I want this scene to be as big as the plane sequence with supes rescuing people all over.
And what the heck no final confrontation between Supes and lex?

I don't know why Parker Posey has been getting slammed, every movie i've seen her been in has shown her being a great actress. Although I haven't seen Blade: Trinity.

Well, she was the worst actor in Blade Trinity, and thats counting Triple H.

I didn't mean that at all,I just wanted to see supes confront lex face to face not nescessarily killing him .It looks like supes saves the day and then lex gets overthrown by its own creation.and he and supes don't see each other again after lex stabs supes.

Sounds like he liked the film but thinks STM is a greatest movie of all time. "I missed terribly Valerie Perrine and Ned Betaty as Luthor's sidekicks"???? WTF? I can't take this guy's opinion seriously after that.

The director or writer wasn't playing her role. She sucked. I seen the movie, I know she's good in some other roles, but IMO she sucked in Blade 3. A wrestler in his first role overshadowed her.

No, I just think it is a sad testiment that some fans feel that the villian needs to die in these flicks, usually falling Gruber style to their death.

i really hope that lex at least knows that superman is still alive whilst stranded. i dont' want him to think that he killed superman. i want him to sit there with kitty, knowing that he failed.

Well, that means theres less to worry about tying off when Lex pops up in the sequel. I would rather have it that way.

No, my issue was how she let her make-up distract her performance, and how she delivered her lines. Goyer had some influence, but its how she worked the role that made it bad.
