I'm tired of the "BLACK WIDOW WITH NO RUSSIAN ACCENT!!1" argument as well.. :/

I hated it!!!... big let down for me... Mickey Rourkes part was lame..the big fight scene on the the end with Whiplash lacked imagination...the story sucked big time... and was drawn out with very little action..except the last twenty minutes to half hour, with a few lights whizzing around, in the flying scenes... all I could make out...the only thing I liked was Black Widows fight scene..she could do scissors around my neck anytime...Cuba Gooding Junior did right by getting out of this fiasco...they just killed the franchise for me.

* The Star Wars medals of bravery rip scene - After Stark and Rhodey defeat Hammer's drones they are treated to a medal awarding ceremony where they are presented the medals by Gary Shandling... nothing much more to say about this.

Only that it's completely nothing like the medals scene in Star Wars.

The only reason they did it that way was to make Shandling's character have to suck up them in front of an audience.

The Star Wars scene was really a geniune medals scene.

- for me the movie is at the same level as the first one.. i really liked it.

-what i didnt get is how rhodey could use the mark 2 suit at all. he doesnt have an energy chest piece. and that tony would put an additional one on every suit wouldnt make any sense or not ?

- loved favreau in this..

-sam rockwell was just great as hammer.. but imo they could let him at least get one thing right. i mean the poor guy fails at almost everything what he does in the movie.. kinda sad. its ok that he´s some kind of wannabe-stark. but when the us goverment or military considers him as consultant or whatsoever, he cant be that bad at what he does.

i started reading early reviews and hearing it wasn't that good. I lowered my expectations and enjoyed they hell out of it ! 8/10

Unless she was mimic-ing an American accent for the whole movie and we just haven't heard her Russian accent yet.

I was furious at your trolling at first but then the part in bold cracked me up!

In the earlier scenes you can see all 4 suits of armor have a glowing chest piece in them. Not sure why he would have them in already though. I was thinking it was in case he had to use one of them in a quick emergency but he always has his chest piece in himself so i'm not sure about that.

Tony supplied each Iron Man suit with their own arc reactor chest pieces...that way when he suits up, he wont have to rely on the chest piece attached to his heart, like he had to in the climax of the first film.

This way each suit has its own power source.

However if you recall in IM2, Rhodey did in fact remove the arc reactor before he showed the Mark II to Hammer to ensure that he wouldn't get his hands on it.

Nice! Then that makes sense in regards to what I was saying about how he might be needing one of those in a quick emergency if his new one gets put out of commision.

I was gonna type this massive review on the movie but I realized I could sum it up with-

The only two major gripes I had with this movie were how Black Widow was pretty much unnecessary to the movie in the long run and how Stark realized his dad's little clue was in the model by just glancing at it. This could've been easily repaired by having Howard hint more heavily at the design of the expo being the key and having Stark go straight for the model and heavily observing it, recognizing the globe after a bit of studying. I can buy that Howard left the element clue/design/whatever-you'd-call-it in the expo's design for his son to complete with the future's technology, I can buy that he'd scan the model and pull everything apart in its hologram and crack the code specifically left for him, but glancing at the model and being like "hey there it is" was too... and I really hate using this word but- contrived.

And everything else was awesome. Any other problems I had (ie. short final fight) were minimal and really didn't hurt the overall quality of the movie. I thought it was just as good as the first. More crowded, but definitely more fun.

I was going to see it again before posting a review, but like TIH and unlike the first IM, the more I think about this movie for some reason the more I like it.
