I see we have a 50/50 split, it doesn't really matter, because you can put both SONY and MARVEL under the "Bring back Sam & Company!" vote.

Exactly.

Most people who are saying there are people with a better vision for Spidey are either:

A) People who want everything to be EXACTLY like the comics.
B) Are the people who want a darker Spider-Man, which, yes Spider-Man is dark at times, but it's not what he's about.

Sam provided the perfect combination of character development, action, and humor for the first 2 movies; yes the 3rd was a step below the previous two, but if he hadn't been saddled with a storyline he wasn't passionate about (The symbiote), I don't think it would've been nearly as weak.

Sam and co. has done a great job...if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Although SM4 had better be better than SM3 or else. It's Sam and co. that has made a nerdy high school kid into the biggest superhero franchise ever. It is stupid to start saying he should be done for. He is more likley to make another great film than someone new coming in and doing the same.

...and this kiddies, is what people call making, a sweeping statement.

Have you ever considered that, people who want something different, actually want something different because they demand more, especially with all the money and resources invested into these movies?
Raimi's movies are far from perfect and could be a whole lot better. You sound like his movies at least sm1 and 2 can't be improved. Wrong. I find Raimi's spidey flicks to be shallow representations of the overall spider-man story, with very little excitement going on and thats not just the action I'm talking about but the character-based scenes.
Its got nothing to do with wanting a darker spider-man or wanting things to be exactly like the comics. I don't know who you've been talking to or how you came to your rather silly conclusions but you need to fall back and realise that you cant lump people who demand more into two erroneous categories.:o

I agree that Raimi and co have done a phenominal job thus far. I just want him to give us some closure with his version of the characters before he leaves. SM3 made me want to see MJ and Peter tie the knot, so I am waiting.

You keep rambling about these mistakes that he made. Have you ever actually mentioned any of them?

Spider-Man 1 could've been improved a bit. But Spider-Man 2 was ****ing fantastic. I challenge you to name one way it could've improved without falling back on some trite complaint about "waah waah, Doctor Octopus was never good in the comics."

Spider-Man 3 on the other hand, was absolute garbage.

Yeah, I think Spider-Man 2 is hands down the best out of all three. Spider-Man 3 was just so-so.

Spider-Man 3 had good acting (with some flawed scenes) and great visuals.

I'd give the acting a 3 star, the visuals a 5 and the script a 1 1/2. The script was poorly put together.

Don't get him started!

I personally agree, SM-2 was about as flawless as a superhero movie is going to get.

I think the main problem with SM3 was its being over-edited. When things get back on pace in the middle, the script is just as good as anything that we got in SM2.

What are you talking about? I've been posting on these boards for over 5 years, pinpointing all the mistakes the movies made. Hell, I've even been banned just because some cry babies didn't like what I was sayin about their precious movies. Go do some research and find them. I'm exempt from having to explain my reasons as to why I think sm1 and 2 are garbage. If I do give my reasosn its because I feel like it and not because some n00b wants me to:o

Don't get him started!

See, even he knows.

Trust me, kangconqwhatever your name is...you dont want to get me started because it'll never end. Just know and accept it when I say, I think sm1 and 2 are crap and we need a new cast and crew.

Although I disagree with you regarding S-M 1/2 being crap, I do agree that we need a new director and possibly a new cast.

Set S-M 4 a few years in the future, that's a perfect time transition. Then the new cast won't feel as rushed into the scheme of things.

What are you? 11?

Chill out.

No. I'm not 11 and I'm not the one who needs to chill out. You need to stop generalising people's thoughts.

Bring back Raimi, but don't force things on him this time around.

You're joking right? a 70 year old man in feathered armor?

No thanks.

Lizard+ Kraven for Spidey 4.

i agree, i mean, i havn't read anything with the vulture in it yet, but wut would be so threatening about him that would be able to carry an entire film?

Cast and Crew should stay for fourth film. The fifth should have this new feel. Possibly has nothing to do with the first four. Just start off with him as spidey and not mention much about the first four. This is a reboot in a way.

Yeah...if they do the wedding, it needs to be Sam, Toby and Kirsten...after that I'm completely fine with recasting.

Yea thats not gonna happen, there not gonna come back for one more movie and the quit. If Sony manages to get Raimi and co. back, there gonna want to keep them for the next 3 movies. Otherwise its a new team and cast starting with SM4.

I think that the Cast should return for a Spidey4 because they are amazing and great at their roles. They have done an amazing job withg the first three Films and I think if they stay for a fourth, then Spidey4 would be excellent and amazing! And if they don't return for a Spidey5 then atleast have them return for a Spidey4 because they are such great actors!
