Wow...I wonder what happened to my 'The Theatrical Trailer Thread'...

...anyways, the trailer is pretty cool. That's all I am going to say...there was barely any Doom, The Silver Surfer is just amazing (as was LF with the voice), and the rest if just looking good enough to me.

I'll be in the theater come June 15th.

I like i keep saying, FF2 is going to be more of the same.
But, then again, no one should have expected anything more than that.
It´s the same director, the same cast....
For the record, i liked FF, not a great movie, but a funny little saturday morning cartoon in live action.

But, to be really honest, and i hope i´m wrong about it, i expect this one to be just the same or worst, not better than the first.
Why?
Because the storyline demans something an all lot more adult and serious, we are dealing with the end of the world, not just some guy in a suit, but a cosmic being, a force of nature.

No idea what you're even saying in some of that last part.

There is plenty of humor to be found in the original comics, even in the Galactus Saga itself.

The trailer was good.
I love the fact that they are making us wait to see Doom. My anticipation is building from that alone. The new (not teaser footage) SFX are groundbreaking, especially the shots of Silver Surfer and Doom, and especially Surfer's close up shot. I agree with everyone who says that the end of the trailer is a money shot, because it definitely is.

I got a big feeling of Meh from the trailer. I look forward to johnny though and this banter with ben which was never used to its full potential in the first movie.

The silver surfer felt like a cartoon character when he spoke

Of course. Because she can do everything. She has no limitations to her powers. She can bring down a helicopter with no damage; She can even serve the passengers coffee and donuts as they exit.

No, actually I had no problem with the Thing lifting a truck he's supposed to be strong enough to lift. But it's pretty clear that you'd like for me too, because you need for things to be as simple and easy as possible. If I don't like one or ten or 50 aspects of a movie, I have to hate every part of it. So, you go ahead and imagine that I did, so you can sleep at night. And maybe Sue can conjure you up a nice cup of cocoa, a teddy bear and tuck you in.

I don't know what's the problem here people? FOR THE LAST TIME THAT IS FISHBURNE'S VOICE! Their's no question and no debate. It's not Doug Jones period. I've heard Doug speak and he would do good to, but Fishburne has been one of my favorite actors forever, and i know the man's voice. i don't care what some has read elsewhere or what some publicist said, that is LF's voice if I'm wrong then I've been easily fooled and will have my ears check, but i'm not worried.

The power swapping thing is no big deal. I like it and I'm sure it'll wear off. From the Xmen to the JLA, the heroes have swapped powers at some point. It's an element from the comics, I don't see the big deal. As for Superskrull, Not really keen on him in a movie. Wouldn't be against him as an underling to a bigger villian, but could care less if he's ever used.

Where the hell is this Superskrull is in the movie comming from ? I think the transformation is as Reed said. Johnny's contact with the Surfer. Who's reading in the Superskrull ?

People are thinking "Super Skrull" because the shot where Johnny's throwing his fiery/rocky/stretchy punch resembles a Super Skrull. I don't think anybody really thinks the movie will have an actual Super Skrull.

Anyway, I loved this trailer, one of the best I've ever seen. My only criticism is Alba's lame "force field" blast, lol
