What are your ten choices now? There has been some really good ones, and I think it just depends on what you prefer.
To me "Fighter of the Year" is easier because you just take whoever has the best wins at the elite levels while fight of the year is such a logjam of fights that would be deserving.
I think Cain Velasquez is Fighter of the Year IMO. Maybe Edgar.
Jon Jones would probably be my Fighter of the Year simply because he elevated himself from prospect to contender by demolishing Vera & Matushenko with venomous elbows.. Or as a rank outsider maybe Sotiropoulos, very entertaining grappling ability I feel.
Fight of the Year is very tough, so many good ones to choose from. I tend to like back & forth battles, either standing up or grappling.. or both. I'll have to think about it...
