I wish he'd stop introducing characters with little to no payoffs.

I don't like any of the Ultimate Counterparts of any body. They are such *****es. So I stopped reading this a little while ago.

Ultimate Colossus is ooo much stronger than his 616 counterpart. I don't even care if he's gay or not.

616 Kurt is more like AOA Kurt and more willing to behead people.

Case in point -

The process of teleportation places a tremendous strain on his endurance and that of any passengers. Extensive training has raised his tolerance for teleportation, but most of his passengers lack this tolerance. Therefore, one of his tactics is to grab opponents and make several quick teleportations with them. They usually are weakened or even pass out from the strain. His more ruthless counterpart in the Age of Apocalypse story line used this same trick with a small twist, generally bringing only certain parts of his opponents with him. He removed Dead Man Wade's head in this way, killing him.

Yeah, Ultimate Kurt hasn't displayed such willingness.

That's actually pretty gruesome, as I thought if he was touching you, your entire personage would be transported, but just taking your arm with you...ouch. I know that if he accidently teleports himself inside a solid object that's instant death.

the last 5 solicitations have talked about the statues quo changing. ok, we get it, lol.

The cover looks AMAZING. Although I see Scott being the most vulnerable.

Yeah, I don't see Scott getting many hits on Kurt. Unless he just shoots a constant beam and spins in a circle haphazardly.

^ROFL OMG I was thinking that same exact thing. Or he could just constantly roll his eyes :p

Not when Kirkman writes him! Ahahahaha! Kirkman is the kryptonite of Colossus. Okay, enough k/hard-c sounds.

But, seriously, who can Kurt take down? Why, anyone, probably in a variety of "Why the heck would that X-Man be that stupid?" ways, up until Kirkman wants Kurt to be taken down, in which case we'll all be saying "Why the heck would Kurt be that stupid?"

Oh, wait, do we want an example? Uh... Colossus charges at Cableverine and doesn't armor up. Um... aw, heck, I don't want a headache, so I'm not coming up with anymore. Bite me.

And, really, if Scott was written the way he should be (ie: tactician and leader), Kurt wouldn't be even a minor problem. Scott might not get all the hits on him, but he'd sure limit how much threat Kurt would be. He trained and fought with the blue guy... wanna tell me he wouldn't know how to take him down fast and hard?
