I still can't figure out why on earth they couldn't have just went with Venom in the 3rd pic instead of adding Sandman. They already had set up Jamesons son in SM2 as an Astronaut, it would have been perfect for the symbiote to come back to earth aboard Col.Jamesons shuttle........

I'd really like The Lizard and Vulture. Both are New York inhabitants and one will be a victim more so than a villain while the other will be a straight up meanie. Connor was developing something to regenerate his arm while Toomes was looking for something to make himself younger. He discovers Connor's research files and attempts to go after him. Of course Spider-Man tries to get in his way. Fights would take place in down below the streets of NY and above the tallest skyscrapers. Raimi talked about raising Spider-Man to the next level and I think this would do it.

The Lizard/Kraven storyline was used in the third game....I think it would be kinda dumb if that's the route they were to go down. Plus, I dislike both of these villains. -_-

It was used very poorly in the 3rd game I'm might add. Just because it was in the game, doesn't mean that can't use them.

If they bring back Norman Osborn from the dead, he could serve as the ultimate concept of corruption and power, as he appears in the comics today.

He's like Spider-Man's "Kingpin", because Fisk did move over to Daredevil's rogues list, and Fisk belongs there.

I feel they should bring back Osborn in the next movie in a puppet-master role, behind the scenes and not directly confronting Spider-Man/Peter Parker until a later movie (Spider-Man 6) as the full-on Green Goblin. They should focus on other villains for the time being (Lizard and Kraven), but they should make an effort to bring back Norman Osborn to utilize him to his full potential later.

What if both Norman Osborn and Harry Osborn come back. Then when they have the big climatic battle it is revealed that Norman is the Chameleon and Harry is Mysterio.

Realistically I think it's going to be just The Lizard. I'm OK with that, I suppose. It can be done in an interesting way I'm sure.

Though I'd much prefer the Kraven/Lizard storyline everybody throws around.

Also, when I saw people talking about Morbius I thought it was the most ******ed idea ever. And I stand by that in terms of a summer blockbuster Spider-Man 4. But if Raimi wanted to do something awesome while committing franchise suicide I think I'd really love to see a horror/film noir-ish Spidey 4 with him.

since the only hint we've gotten is a villain that has a big part to do with New York Kingpin is the way to go. especially if those who want the Sinister 6 to appear in the series. again to make the S6 they should bring back old villains and add some new. in Spidey 4-6 i would the sinister 6 should consist of Kingpin, Venom, Doc Ock, Sandman, then introdue Electro & Lizard.

Except you can't argue with facts, Kraven is a classic villain, FACT.
And you'd be surprised as to how popular he is, despite the fact that popularity has nothing to do with a villains chance of getting into a movie (i.e. Sandman).
Of course Kraven isn't visually "amazing" but that not the point of the character. Not all villains have to look "OMG kewl badass".

uh yes they do!! whats the point of making movies like these is you're gonna have dull looking characters ....yeah lets go from the visually amazing Doc Ock & Sandman where he turns into a giant sand monster to some ****** in lion skin hunting Spidey w/spears, knives and other stupid traps for animals Kraven uses. i could see how maybe Spidey might go against Kraven if Lizard was in it and Kraven was trying to capture Lizard and Peter knows who Lizard and tries to save him from Kraven. but other than that lets stick to the cool looking villains. you have to cater to the general audience if u wanna sell a movie not just fans swinging from Kraven's jewels to put it nicely

You obviously don't give the general audiences enough credit if you really think this way. They have much more of an attention span than you think. face it dude Kraven's lame. i rather have Mysterio onboard Spidey 4 than Kraven. i just don't see what's so exciting about Kraven. and i'm not saying the general audience is a bunch of brainless morons (even though a lot of teens get high to go see movies like this for the visuals) but u wanna see fight scenes grow into more exciting battles from the previous movies. u can almost see Electro exploding on the scene with great electric visual effects and if they go the ultimate comic route Maxwell could be one of Parkers colleagues in college w/a great story to tell. Lizard is Dr. Connors so we know how easily he could be placed into it. but its gonna be difficult to just throw Kraven in there. one he's too lame of a character to get great visuals for the fight scenes. two Sam Raimi always finds a way to tie the villain into Peter's life. i mean what's gonna be the way Kraven gets tied into Peter's life? one day Peter decided to go to the jungle to outswing Tarzan and Kraven was watching with pure envy?? come on dude
