Animation Official Wolverine And The X-men, "Hindsight 1-3" Discussion Thread

I sent the people that asked for it, the link to episode 1 in english. If you didnt get it and want it, ask me. Youtube might delete it so sorry if the video is down by the time you get it. (It isnt my video btw).

this epi. was good, Pyro has his Aussy accent, Boom Boom still her sarcastic self I dont remember Kitty being loud and obnoxius...Rogue still a loner...all in all this epi left us w/ some unexplained ?'s What was Scott/Jean aruguing about, Why was Logan leaving, and when exactly did the team bis-band?

I look 4warded to seeing the future epi.

Jean blowing the kiss at Wolverine was just weird. And I think Wolverine just leaves the mansion from time to time, as Rogue was saying. And I guess the team just disbanded since the Professor was gone and the school was destroyed.

I think this show is bit better then Spectactular Spiderman I mean it has great Animation and is more action Packed!!!

This is pretty good. How could a major channel in the US not pick this up, and why did NIck doom it to there lame Nicktoons channel?

Spectacular Spiderman seems ok from what Ive seen. But its basically just a retelling of Spiderman's origins and all of his villains. This show looks better, the x-men are already set up, theyve met some of their villains already, and it starts from there.

Eh well hopefully it will do well on Nicktoons. No matter what Lionsgate will release the whole thing on DVD.

I'd just like it to be a success and get another season.

Television Without Pity didn't like the first episode.

Has anything done well on that channel? They have that Speed Racer show and I can't even find downloads for that show. Did lionsgate say they'll put the whole thing on dvd?

The cg in this show fits better than it did in the fantastic four.

Lionsgate licensed the series on DVD. So they will hopefully have to at some point.

Yeah, there was a little bit of CG in the episode like with the vehicles, but it fit in OK.

It seemed to me that Logan was leaving on some sort of temporary personal away thing. Since Logan does that . . . a lot.

I'm also curious what Jean and Scott's fight was about. She was so angry that she blew a kiss at Logan, maybe to tick Scott off. Scott was trying to apologize, and Jean said Scott should be apologizing to Logan. Maybe Scott was accusing Logan and/or Jean of something, and well, whatever. It was just a weird awkward moment to me and I think it sort of gives ammo to haters of the show.

that Jean momment was the worst of the first 8 episodes, in my opinion.

It was really ridiculous.

Yeah, maybe the only scene with Jean in the whole show and they screw it up. :D

hahaha, she'll appear one day.

But yes, it was a really childish scene. With things like that, you see this series was made for children.

Angamb, you've seen the first 8 episodes? Are they all the Spanish Jetix ones? Or were they in english?

Only one episode has come out in english so it was probably the spanish ones. Iv seen the first five (minus episode 2) in spanish but they were deleted.

Just saw episode one. This show looks very very promising.

I've seen the latin version, at first I didn't like the accent, but now I can see it without many problem, he.

just saw the first episode and loved it! i just wish we got to see more of colossus and pyro before they were gone =(

I've noticed that with what I've seen in 8 episodes, we could have a 2 hour X-men 4, hehe.

How great it would be to have some ideas from this series in X4....

To me this series is what I wanted X-men 3 to be. Yeah Wolverine's still a major player, but Cyclops is still in the game at least. And he does
blow Wolverine away in episode 2.

I think this series has more to do with X4.

X3 had the cure and Jean returning, and this series starts with Jean and Xavier gone, and the introduction of Emma.

I think is perfect:

Angel is around, with his father helping to rebuild the school, Beast with his investigations in the lab of the manssion.... Rogue alone... Emma joining the x-men, Gambit steling them something.... and fighting with Logan... Nightcrawler by his side too...

Is perfect!!

:xmen::ff:

I mostly agree Angamb, but this is not in canon to the live action movies.

Since Fox has little in the way of profitable properties left, they will probably make an X-men 4 at some point. So they could take cues from this show, much like Bryan Singer did from the 90's show which was a big influence on his take for the movies. Craig Kyle one of the creators of this show, though he isn't a big fan of the 90's show he credits it to being responsible for the X-men movies happening at all as well as the existence and development of Marvel Studios.

It's a good point if you think about it. Because the animated shows did help make these characters viable and super popular again especially to the mainstream audience. It got the toys and merchandise on the shelves. And they were always consistently doing well when Marvel was going through some dark times. The X-men animated series is really what kickstarted the interest in turning it into a movie.
