Wolverine: The Official Set Photos Thread
For sets/behind the scenes photos only. Please place official photos here.

Since filming will begin this or next month on X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, it'd be good to have one place for photos of the film sets and behind the scenes action. Place any of those shots here when they become available.

Location: Deer Park Heights. Appears to be a log cabin looking out over Lake Wakatipu. Might be Logan's cabin.

Location: Queenstown. May possibly be the Hudson farm?

Good idea Ant!

It proved extremely popular for Fantastic Four, so I have decided to run a Flickr archive for any X-Men Origins: Wolverine set photos that surface. This way, if images become broken on here, or people want to see all of the images together without scrolling through peoples comments etc, they can do so with ease.

The album is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/xmenorigins/

I'll be updating it as and when any new images surface. :) You can also subscribe to the RSS feed to get up-to-the-minute updates.

I hope this movie will be more fun than X-men 1 and 2, but not as corny as X-men 3.

Maybe the brown suit this time.

Cool.

I'm guessing that structure-in-progress is supposed to be the Howlett Plantation.

Cool photos. These locations should make for some nice scenery in the movie.

And I hope this movie doesn't look like a cheap Sci-Fi channel movie like X-Men 1.

Either way, we're all going to be there to make this another huge ass film, no matter what.

Nice shots indeed!

Cool. Thanks for the link.

Havn't been around these boards in ages. Nice to see this movie is coming along!

Awww I thought I just found that house 1st. LOL

The Admantium House.

Interesting... though I don't see the point of a wolverine spin-off, since the first two movies centered hugely around him..

And here are some new hi-res pics from Queenstown, New Zealand courtesy of Otago Images.

Built to be blown up? An American style barn is hurridly constructed at Arcadia Station east of Glenorchy.

Constructing a mountain veiw: With a veiw Frankton and beyond and on to Arrowtown, ``Logan's Cabin'' is a simple stone cottage with a multi million dollar view from the top of Deer Park Hieghts.

Relaxed security: The security guard at the barn construction site for Wolverine sits back and reads a magazine while the sign does all the work.

Under Construction...The Queenstown Fun Centre, the resort's ice rink, has been taken over by Wolverine Productions crew ahead of fliming for the Hollywood blockbuster beginning.

Nissan Patrol GQ 1994

This is a my old GQ which I sold in November 2007 to Fox Studios, so they can add a Rhinobuggy conversion to it and use it in the Wolverine Movie. (a spin off of the Xman). We had a lot of fun in her.

Dutch family who took a tour of the LOTR filming locations also saw one of the sets for Wolverine.

We have our first on-set shot of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the familiar leather clothing with those huge side burns. This picture was taken in Queenstown. Click here to see it!

IMO - don't think it's an onset shot. This was taken Feb. 3 (a Sunday), the same day he took a "Shotover Jet" rapids ride - this looks like it may have been taken right after the ride was over.

Hahaha. Retro you find the most random and funny things :D
