Longshot and Dazzler are Shatterstar's parents and Longshot is a sort modified clone of Shatterstar.

that makes Shatterstar Longshot's father in a way. So they're both each other's father and son at the same time.

Leave it to PAD to come up with that, lol. I'm gonna miss this book so much.

That is stupid as hell. This was time travel at its absolute worse. That rivals the nonsense with the Summers children. That was just bad and no wonder X-factor is being cancelled

I think the Summers family might even be more straight forward than this.

This is on par with the St.Croix family stuff lol

The inbreeding explains the mullet

The real question is who takes out who on father's day?

I just realized that these revelations means that Dazzler is [blackout]Longshot's ex wife and grandmother[/blackout]. Oh boy

I can understand why people are a bit upset but honestly I can accept the answer we got. Hell it's the whole Bashir on the Original Enterprise Paradox moment. PAD took what has been hinted at for years like Rictor and Starr's relationship and said yes fans/readers you were right but he put his own spin on it. Although he appears to be tying things up I'm hoping the characters are getting set up to appear in a new comic he is writing. I'm probably kidding myself here but we still have the final issue where I suppose Jamie is reverted back and Starr and Rictor are back because they need to be tied up or God know what some other writer will do to explain it if they get a hold of any of these characters.

Just read the Shatterstar/Longshot/Rictor issue and now I need an aspirin.

Love this damn book though, gonna miss it too.

One issue and by the end I liked Quicksliver and Polaris a little more.

BTW the end has me excited.

I hate it. I want Lorna free and out there to join the X-men. I wish they'd just give X-factor a rest. Not interested in seeing another book, especially so soon

Thoroughly enjoyed that last issue. Sign me up for a reboot, as long as the writer is a good one. Havok, normally I'd agree that a lot of the cast of X-Factor should be full on X-Men but I fear they'd get lost in limbo at either Cyclops or Wolverine's schools.

I wouldn't mind just reading a issue of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Polaris hanging out.

Absolutely! Sober Polaris though. She's an annoying drunk.

How can you kill a guy who can always adapt? That's why I never understood why he was killed off on First Class. In the comics I think it was one of those "just kidding" deals, where one writer killed him and another dusted him off.
