I stopped caring about that feud after WrestleMania. Now, if Cole had gotten the hell beaten out of him, that would been great, but BBQ sauce and a sharpshooter was tame compared to what I would've done.

At Wrestlemania, Cole should have beaten from pillar to post, bloodied up, and lawler should have had a feel good victory moment.

Extending it did NOT create more heat for Cole...it killed the heat he had, and everyone got sick of the angle. The "I hope he gets beat up" heat turned to "get this over with already" heat.

Vickie generated actual, real heat. Unfortunately at some point people realized that she...as a woman...could never and would never get the beating that her character deserved. So, where do you go from there? The heat she got MUST be successfully transferred to the wrestler she is managing. That didn't happen with Dolph, which was in no way his fault, so Vickie's heat has turned sour.

Cole earned his through years of weak commentary. I would have replaced him with Styles or Coach years ago.

Dave Meltzer reports that WWE was indeed working on a Randy Savage tribute video that would air on tonight's RAW from Portland. Obviously things could change between now and then, but look for it to air tonight.

@realMickFoley: Maybe so, but 2 days later, I trapped @TheRock under a pallet of beer kegs to win the WWE strap in an Empty Arena Match aka TNA house show.

WWE giving John Cena the belt so early in the year will come back to bit them.

They COULD have kept him feuding with other guys, beating them, and then getting the belt at Rumble, defending at Elimination Chamber, then face The Rock.

This scenario would have forced WWE to elevate other guys...perhaps John Morrison vs Miz for the belt while Cena feuds with Del Rio or something...its dubling your main events each month.

However, this now means that not only will no faces be elevated from now til mania...but the heels that Cena faces will be crushed and lowered back down the card...hurting their characters long term value.

Yep, all for that big Wrestlemania moment between him and The Rock. Then the next day Rock will be gone again and they'll all wake up and realize that now they have nothing to go forward with. No faces, no heels, just Cena.

WWE is not allowing talent to grow at all. They build heels up enough to feed them to Cena and Orton, then drop them down the card. They have three main event faces Cena, Orton, and Rey that's it. Their booking makes no sense and hasn't for a long time.

With the exception of Punk, Del Rio is another heel that is in need of a win,so I think feeding either of them to Cena right now is a bad idea,I'd like to see Del Rio get his shot at summerslam and actually get put over for once. Punk needs to get rid of nexus first before facing John.
